## Pricing

from $1.40 / 1,000 suggestion results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## App Store & Google Play Autocomplete — ASO Keyword Ideas

Type a keyword into the App Store or Google Play search box and the store suggests what people search next. This Actor collects those suggestions for many keywords and countries in one run:

- **Both stores in one run** — Apple App Store and Google Play, same input, same output format
- **15 countries** — US, GB, CA, AU, IN, DE, FR, ES, IT, JP, KR, BR, MX, NL, SE
- **A-Z expansion** (optional) — also queries `<keyword> a` … `<keyword> z` and merges the results, so one seed keyword can return 100+ long-tail ideas. Each suggestion records which letter found it
- **Position** of each suggestion in the store's list, so you can see what the store ranks first
- Google Play language follows the country (JP → ja, KR → ko, DE → de …) and can be overridden

### Why this one

| | This Actor |
|---|---|
| Billing | You pay per result **only when the store returned suggestions**. Empty and failed results are listed with `charged: false` and cost nothing. |
| Time limit | Every keyword × country × store has a hard limit (default 60 s, including retries and A-Z expansion). The run never loops. |
| Rate limits | On HTTP 429 or 5xx it waits once and retries, then records the error and moves on. Requests are spaced about 0.5-1 s apart. |
| Transparency | Each result shows `status` (`ok`, `empty`, `failed`) and `error`. Nothing is silently dropped. |
| Run timeout | The run stops 60 s before its timeout and tells you how far it got, instead of being killed mid-result. |

### Input

```json
{
  "keywords": ["photo editor", "budget tracker"],
  "countries": ["US", "JP"],
  "stores": ["appStore", "googlePlay"],
  "expandAlphabet": false,
  "maxSecondsPerKeyword": 60
}
```

- `countries`: any of US, GB, CA, AU, IN, DE, FR, ES, IT, JP, KR, BR, MX, NL, SE.
- `expandAlphabet`: one result then takes roughly 25-30 seconds, because it sends 27 requests.
- `language`: optional Google Play language code (`en`, `ja`, `pt-BR` …). Empty = derived from the country.

### Output (one item per keyword × country × store)

```json
{
  "keyword": "photo editor",
  "country": "US",
  "store": "appStore",
  "suggestions": [
    {"term": "photo editor", "position": 1, "seed": ""},
    {"term": "photo editor ai", "position": 2, "seed": ""}
  ],
  "count": 2,
  "status": "ok",
  "error": null,
  "fetchedAt": "2026-10-27T09:00:00+00:00",
  "charged": true
}
```

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `suggestions[].term` | The suggested search phrase |
| `suggestions[].position` | Position in the store's suggestion list for the query that found it |
| `suggestions[].seed` | Empty for the keyword itself, or the letter (`a`-`z`) from A-Z expansion |
| `count` | Number of unique suggestions |
| `status` | `ok` · `empty` (store returned nothing) · `failed` (all requests errored) |
| `charged` | Whether this result was billed |

### Pricing

Pay per result: one **suggestion-result** event per keyword × country × store that returned at least one suggestion. Pricing: see the Pricing tab. The run stops when your spending limit is reached.

### Limits — read before you rely on it

- Suggestions show what the store offers while typing. They are not search volumes and carry no popularity score; `position` is only the order shown.
- Suggestions can differ by time, device and account. This Actor sees what an anonymous visitor sees.
- Both stores can change or block these endpoints without notice.
- Only the 15 countries above are supported.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Seed keywords to type into the store search box. One result per keyword × country × store.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Country codes. Supported: US, GB, CA, AU, IN, DE, FR, ES, IT, JP, KR, BR, MX, NL, SE.

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Which store search boxes to query.

## `expandAlphabet` (type: `boolean`):

Also query '<keyword> a' ... '<keyword> z' and merge the suggestions (deduplicated; the letter is recorded in 'seed'). Takes about 27x longer per result.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language code for Google Play (hl), for example en, ja, ko, pt-BR. Leave empty to derive it from the country.

## `maxSecondsPerKeyword` (type: `integer`):

Hard limit for one keyword × country × store, including retries and A-Z expansion. When reached, the suggestions found so far are returned.
