## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Property Finder Scraper: Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain listings with price per sqm

Scrape property-for-sale and property-for-rent listings from Property Finder in Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain. Every row comes back clean, with the price per square meter and per square foot already calculated, so you can compare areas without extra spreadsheet work.

### What you get

- Price, currency and rent period
- Size in square meters, price per sqm and price per sqft
- A data quality flag (`area_confidence`) that tells you how reliable the size and price-per-area numbers are
- City, district (neighborhood), building name and the full location text
- Coordinates (latitude and longitude)
- Bedrooms (including "studio"), bathrooms, property type, furnished status and completion status
- Days on market and the listed date
- Listing description, amenities list, first photo links (up to 3 per listing, plus the total photo count), permit number when the listing has one, and a price-drop flag (can be switched off)
- Agent and broker names, verified, premium and exclusive flags, and the first image
- Direct listing URL and reference number
- Optional: broker phone and email (off by default, see below)

### Pick your countries

Tick any of these in the Countries box. You can scrape one or several in the same run.

| Country | Site |
|---------|------|
| Egypt | propertyfinder.eg |
| United Arab Emirates | propertyfinder.ae |
| Saudi Arabia | propertyfinder.sa |
| Qatar | propertyfinder.qa |
| Bahrain | propertyfinder.bh |

### Want only certain listings? Paste a search link

1. Open Property Finder in your browser.
2. Set your filters: location, price, bedrooms, property type.
3. Copy the link from the address bar.
4. Paste it into the Search link box.

The Actor keeps your filters and reads as many pages as you allow. When a search link is used, the Countries and For sale or for rent boxes are ignored.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|-------|--------------|
| Search link | Optional. A Property Finder search link with your filters |
| Countries | Which countries to scrape. Default: Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia |
| For sale or for rent | Buy or rent |
| Max pages per country or search link | About 25 listings per page |
| Hard limit on total listings | Stops the run when this many listings are collected |
| Include description, amenities, photos and permit | On by default. Switch off for smaller, faster results |
| Include broker phone and email | Off by default |

Default settings scrape 5 pages in each of 3 countries for sale, roughly 340 listings.

### Broker contact details

Broker phone and email are not included unless you turn on "Include broker phone and email". Only turn it on if you are allowed to use that information under the laws and rules that apply to you.

### Example output

```json
{
  "listing_id": "12345678",
  "market": "qa",
  "title": "Furnished 2 bedroom apartment in The Pearl",
  "property_type": "Apartment",
  "price": 1800000,
  "currency": "QAR",
  "size_sqm": 125,
  "price_per_sqm": 14400,
  "price_per_sqft": 1337.7,
  "area_confidence": "sqm-as-stated",
  "bedrooms": "2",
  "bathrooms": "3",
  "city": "Doha",
  "district": "The Pearl Island",
  "days_on_market": 3
}
```

### About the data quality flag

- `sqm-as-stated`: the size was given in square meters and used as is
- `sqft-converted`: the size was given in square feet and converted to square meters
- `mismatch-verify`: our calculated price per area does not match the price per area shown on the site, so check this row before relying on it
- `unknown`: no usable size was listed

### Good to know

- The Actor reads publicly visible listing pages. You are responsible for using the data in line with the source site's terms and the laws that apply to you.
- Listings change all the time, so two runs a day apart will not give identical results.
- Export results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the dataset, or pull them through the Apify API.

# Actor input Schema
