## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Personio Jobs Scraper — Search Personio Career Pages

**Get every open job from Personio career pages (`*.jobs.personio.de`) as one clean table, with no browser and no login.**
Type "sales" and "Berlin" to search the built-in list of 120+ verified companies that hire through Personio.
Or paste the Personio pages you track, as links or just the company id. Each job comes with title, department,
office, **country** (Personio only publishes the office name, so the country is added from the city),
employment type, seniority, schedule, years of experience, posted date, job link and a clean description.
Turn on "Only new jobs" and schedule it daily, and you have a job alert. **$1 per 1,000 jobs.**

| You give | You get, per job |
|---|---|
| nothing (search mode), or `westwing`, `https://neon.jobs.personio.de` … | company, title, department, team, office, all offices, city, country, remote, employment type + schedule, seniority, years of experience, occupation, posted date, job link, description |

### Why Personio

Personio is the HR system of choice for small and mid-sized companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain:
more than 10,000 employers. Their openings often never reach LinkedIn or Indeed. Each Personio career page
has a public job feed, and this Actor reads it the way the career page does.

### Two ways to use it

1. **Search (no company list needed):** leave "Personio career pages" empty, set keywords, locations (`Berlin`,
   `Germany`, `AT`, `Remote`), workplace and dates. The Actor checks the built-in list of 120+ verified Personio companies,
   starting with those that have the most openings (up to "Max companies").
2. **Your own list:** paste Personio links (`https://acme.jobs.personio.de`, `.com` works too) or bare ids (`acme`).
   You get every opening of exactly those companies.

The built-in list is a verified sample, not every company on Personio. It was last checked on 19 Oct 2026.

### Who uses it

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies in DACH:** watch target companies and see new roles the day they go live.
- **Niche job boards and newsletters:** German startup jobs, Munich tech, remote DACH, Werkstudent boards. The data comes
  straight from the source.
- **Sales teams (hiring signals):** a Mittelstand company opening five sales roles is growing, which makes it a warm lead.
- **Market and salary research:** roles, seniority and experience requirements across German SMEs.
- **AI agents and automations:** flat JSON for Sheets, Airtable, Slack, Make, Zapier or your own app.

### Filters

- **Keywords** in the title (optionally in the description), **exclude keywords** (`werkstudent`, `praktikum`, `intern`).
- **Locations:** city, country name or code (`München`, `Germany`, `DE`, `Remote`).
- **Workplace**, **departments**, **posted within N days**, **max jobs per company**, **max jobs in total**.
- **Only new jobs since the last run.** The Actor remembers what you already got, and you pay only for new jobs.

### Example row

```json
{
  "ats": "personio",
  "company": "Westwing Group SE",
  "companyId": "westwing",
  "title": "Senior Category Manager (all genders)",
  "department": "Buying",
  "employmentType": "full-time, permanent",
  "seniority": "experienced",
  "location": "Munich Office",
  "city": "Munich Office",
  "country": "Germany",
  "countryCode": "DE",
  "allLocations": ["Munich Office"],
  "postedAt": "2026-10-02T08:14:11.000Z",
  "url": "https://westwing.jobs.personio.de/job/1234567?language=en",
  "yearsOfExperience": "5-7",
  "description": "Your tasks ..."
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.001 per job delivered** ($1 per 1,000), plus a tiny start fee. Filtered-out and already-seen jobs are
free. Set "Maximum cost per run" in Run options, and the Actor stops cleanly when it gets there.

### Need other systems?

For Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Workable, Recruitee, Teamtailor, BambooHR and Pinpoint in one run, use
[Career Page Jobs API](https://apify.com/nefes-tools/eu-company-jobs). It has the same output format.

### Fair use

Only public job postings that companies publish on their own career pages. The Actor follows robots.txt, waits between
requests and stops if a site shows a bot challenge. It removes e-mail addresses, phone numbers and personal profile links
from descriptions, and it collects no data about people.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line: the Personio career page link (https://acme.jobs.personio.de or .com) or just the company id ("acme"). Leave empty to search the built-in list of verified companies on Personio.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive), e.g. engineer, sales, marketing. Empty = all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these, e.g. Berlin, Germany, DE, Remote. Empty = all locations.

## `workplace` (type: `string`):

Filter by remote / hybrid / on-site where the company states it.

## `workplaceStrict` (type: `boolean`):

By default, jobs where the workplace (remote / hybrid / on-site) is not stated or detectable are kept when you filter by Workplace. Turn on to keep only jobs that state it.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. werkstudent, praktikum, intern.

## `searchInDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Match keywords in the job description too, not only in the title.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose department or team contains any of these, e.g. Engineering, Sales.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs published in the last N days (where the career page publishes the date). Empty = any date.

## `directoryCountries` (type: `array`):

Used only when "Personio career pages" is empty. Limit the built-in company list to companies hiring in these countries, e.g. DE, AT, CH, Spain. Empty = use your "Locations" to narrow the list.

## `maxCompanies` (type: `integer`):

Used only when "Personio career pages" is empty. The built-in list has 120+ verified Personio companies; the ones with the most openings are checked first.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember delivered jobs and return only new ones on the next run. Schedule the Actor daily for a job alert. You pay only for new jobs.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Use different names to keep separate memories for different searches.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Plain-text job description (emails, phone numbers and personal profile links are removed).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Empty = no limit.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs.
