## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

### Amazon Seller Scraper — Profile, Ratings & Business Details

Look up an Amazon seller by merchant ID and get one clean row: storefront name,
rating, rating count, positive feedback percentage, the About text, the registered
business name and address, the privacy policy link, and the feedback breakdown for
30 days, 90 days, 12 months and lifetime. Works across 19 Amazon marketplaces. No
API key, no Amazon account and no cookies required. One seller per run.

### ✨ Why this Actor

- **Feedback over four windows, not one number.** 30-day, 90-day, 12-month and
  lifetime ratings each arrive with their own count, so you can see whether a
  storefront is improving or sliding — the thing a single lifetime average hides.
- **The legal entity behind the storefront.** Registered business name and address
  as Amazon publishes them in "Detailed Seller Information", next to the trading
  name buyers see.
- **Predictable price per result.** You pay per dataset row. A run that fails — a
  dead merchant ID, an upstream error, a page Amazon never served — writes no row
  and is not charged.
- **19 marketplaces.** Feedback is per marketplace: the same merchant can look very
  different on amazon.de than on amazon.com.
- **A blocked page is never sold as an empty profile.** A response that carries no
  data and too little traffic to have been a real page fails the run instead of
  billing you for a captcha.

### 🔧 How it works

1. Paste a merchant ID such as `A3LGJL7ZJFVWSN` — or a storefront URL, the ID is
   taken out of it.
2. Pick the marketplace.
3. The Actor calls the Neuralverge extraction engine and writes one dataset row.

### Input

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `sellerId` | Amazon merchant ID, or a storefront URL |
| `domain` | Which Amazon marketplace to read (default `amazon.com`) |

### What you'll receive

One row per run: `sellerId`, `name`, `url`, `rating`, `ratingCount`,
`positivePercent`, `about`, `businessName`, `businessAddress`, `phone`,
`privacyPolicy`, `rating30d`, `ratingCount30d`, `rating90d`, `ratingCount90d`,
`rating365d`, `ratingCount365d`, `ratingLifetime`, `ratingCountLifetime` and the
`domain`.

Illustrative sample:

```json
{
  "domain": "amazon.com",
  "sellerId": "A3LGJL7ZJFVWSN",
  "name": "Slam-Dunk",
  "url": "https://www.amazon.com/sp?seller=A3LGJL7ZJFVWSN",
  "rating": 4.8,
  "ratingCount": 699,
  "positivePercent": 96,
  "businessName": "Thiago & More LLC",
  "rating30d": 4.6,
  "ratingCount30d": 40,
  "ratingLifetime": 4.8,
  "ratingCountLifetime": 6053
}
```

Fields are best-effort and follow what the storefront actually publishes: sellers
choose whether to show a phone number, `businessAddress` carries the street line
Amazon prints in "Detailed Seller Information", and a brand-new storefront has no
30-day feedback yet.

### Pricing

Pay per result, charged per dataset row. A lookup that completes and matches nothing
writes one explicit `found: false` row and is billed as one result. A lookup that
fails writes no row and is not charged.

#### Free plan limits

On the Apify **Free** plan this Actor can be started **5 times per calendar month**
per user — one seller per run, one row. Every Neuralverge Actor has its own
allowance, and a run that finds nothing counts too. Any paid Apify plan removes the
limit. Rate limit: 10 requests per second per Apify account.

### Integrations & API

Runs can be started from the Apify API, scheduled, or wired into Make, Zapier, n8n,
Airbyte, LangChain and the Apify MCP server like any other Actor. Results are
available as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML and RSS from the dataset endpoint.

### FAQ

**Where do I find a merchant ID?**
On any product page sold by a third party, the "Sold by" link points at the
storefront and carries `seller=` in the URL. The Amazon Offers Scraper returns the
same ID as a column.

**What does this seller actually sell?**
Run the Amazon Seller Products Scraper on the same merchant ID.

**Do I need an Amazon account, cookies or an API key?**
No. Nothing to log into and nothing to configure.

**Which marketplaces are supported?**
The 19 listed above. A merchant registered on one marketplace does not always sell
on another.

### 🔗 Other Neuralverge Amazon Actors

The five Amazon Actors are built to hand work to each other — one endpoint each, one input per run:

- [Amazon Seller Products Scraper](https://apify.com/neuralverge/neuralverge-amazon-seller-products) — the catalogue this merchant actually lists.
- [Amazon Offers Scraper](https://apify.com/neuralverge/neuralverge-amazon-product-offers) — how to find a merchant in the first place: the seller behind a Buy Box.
- [Amazon Product Scraper](https://apify.com/neuralverge/neuralverge-amazon-product) — the full product page for any ASIN from that storefront.
- [Amazon Search Scraper](https://apify.com/neuralverge/neuralverge-amazon-product-search) — start from a keyword instead of a merchant ID.

# Actor input Schema

## `sellerId` (type: `string`):

The Amazon merchant ID, e.g. "A3LGJL7ZJFVWSN". You can paste a storefront URL instead — the ID is taken out of it. One seller per run.

## `domain` (type: `string`):

Which Amazon marketplace to read. Prices, availability and the feedback figures are local to the marketplace you pick, and an ID that exists on amazon.com does not always exist on another one.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "sellerId": "A3LGJL7ZJFVWSN",
  "domain": "amazon.com"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Structured Amazon results, one dataset row per item.
