## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Domains or website URLs, one per line, e.g. github.com or https://www.make.com/en (the domain is used). AhrefsTop page URLs also work: https://ahrefs.com/websites/github.com, or a list such as https://ahrefstop.com/websites/united-states/finance. AhrefsTop covers registrable domains only (docs.github.com is not in its index).

## `includeTopWebsites` (type: `boolean`):

Also scrape the AhrefsTop ranking of the most visited websites (by organic search traffic) for the country and category below.

## `topWebsitesCountry` (type: `string`):

worldwide, or a country name, AhrefsTop slug or two-letter code, e.g. United States, united-states or us. Several, comma-separated: us, gb, de. Checked against AhrefsTop's own country list on every run.

## `topWebsitesCategory` (type: `string`):

all, or a category name or slug, e.g. Finance, computers-and-electronics, Shopping. Several, comma-separated. Checked against AhrefsTop's own category list on every run.

## `topWebsitesMode` (type: `string`):

ranking = websites ordered by Ahrefs rank; trending = the 10 biggest risers and 10 biggest fallers of the month; both = both.

## `topWebsitesLimit` (type: `integer`):

Ranking rows per country/category list. The worldwide all-categories list follows AhrefsTop's next-page link up to rank 1,000 (10 pages of 100); every country or category list has one page of 100.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open the AhrefsTop page of every top-website row and add its Domain Rating, exact traffic and value, history, countries, keywords and competitors (one more request per row).

## `includeTraffic` (type: `boolean`):

Organic search traffic, traffic value (USD) and organic keyword count. Output switch only: AhrefsTop sends every section on one page.

## `includeHistory` (type: `boolean`):

Monthly organic traffic + traffic value history since 2015 and monthly linking-websites history (exact numbers).

## `includeCountries` (type: `boolean`):

The 5 countries that send the most organic traffic, with exact visits, last month's visits and share.

## `includeKeywords` (type: `boolean`):

The domain's top 5 organic keywords (volume, traffic, position and their changes) in the country AhrefsTop shows them for.

## `includeCompetitors` (type: `boolean`):

Top 5 organic competitors (traffic, pages) and the 5 similarly ranked websites.

## `includeBacklinks` (type: `boolean`):

Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR) and linking websites (referring domains) with the month-over-month change.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many rows in total (domains + top-website rows).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is the default. AhrefsTop answered direct requests without a challenge in our tests; any country works.
