## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Facebook Followers Scraper - followers and following lists

Facebook Followers Scraper exports the followers and following lists of public Facebook Pages and
public figures without logging in: for every listed account its name, profile link, username, profile
picture, subtitle (city or work), type and verified badge - page after page. A second mode tracks
follower, following, like and "talking about" counts of pages and profiles from run to run, with the
change since the previous run, the Page creation date and whether the Page runs ads. Export JSON,
CSV or Excel, or connect it through the Apify API, webhooks, Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets.

#### How it works

`facebook.com/<page>/followers/` and `/following/` embed the first 8 accounts of the list together
with the session values; the next pages come from Facebook's own list pagination query, whose id,
variables and provider values are read from the page's JavaScript bundles on every run. Counts come
from the page header; the creation date and ad status from the Page transparency tab.

#### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `startUrls` | Page or profile URLs, usernames, numeric ids, or direct `/followers` / `/following` links |
| `mode` | `lists` (one row per account) or `counts` (one row per page/profile) |
| `lists` | `followers`, `following` or `both` |
| `maxFollowers`, `maxFollowing` | Accounts per list and page (default 50 each) |
| `includeProfileDetails` | Open each listed account and add its category, followers, contacts, city, work |
| `onlyNewFollowers` | Return only accounts not delivered in earlier runs (monitoring) |
| `includeTransparency`, `checkAdsLibrary`, `historyDepth` | Counts mode: creation date + ad status, Ad Library check, past counts |
| `maxTotalItems`, `proxyConfiguration` | Total limit and proxy (RESIDENTIAL by default) |

#### Output

Lists mode: `followType`, `position`, `id`, `name`, `url`, `username`, `profilePictureUrl`,
`subtitle`, `type`, `isVerified`, `profileDetails` (optional), `sourceId`, `sourceUsername`,
`sourceName`, `sourceUrl`, `sourceFollowersCount`, `sourceFollowingCount`, `inputUrl`, `scrapedAt`.

Counts mode: `id`, `username`, `url`, `name`, `accountType`, `category`, `bio`, `isVerified`,
`followersCount`, `followingCount`, `likesCount`, `talkingAboutCount`, `checkinsCount`, `rating`,
`email`, `phone`, `websites`, `address`, `hours`, `priceRange`, `responsibleEntity`,
`profilePictureUrl`, `coverPhotoUrl`, `pageId`, `isBusinessPageActive`, `followerDelta`,
`likeDelta`, `followingDelta`, `previousScrapedAt`, `history`, `pageCreationDate`, `adStatus`,
`isRunningAds`, `confirmedOwner`, `hasActiveAds`, `inputUrl`, `scrapedAt`.

#### Measured limits (local runs, 2026-10-03, see TEST_REPORT.md)

- 8 accounts per request: 200 of zuck's followers from 25 requests in 53 s (more available).
- Facebook shows the most recent followers first; it does not offer the full list order or a total.
- Ordinary personal profiles are not public logged out: their own followers lists cannot be read, and
with `includeProfileDetails` they are marked `not_available`.
- zuck's following list is not shown; Pages show theirs (NASA 52, Hard Rock Cafe London 575).
- The transparency tab is about 16 MB per Page, so it is opt-in.

#### Example

```json
{"startUrls": ["https://www.facebook.com/NASA", "https://www.facebook.com/HardRockCafeLondon/following/"],
 "lists": "both", "maxFollowers": 100, "maxFollowing": 100}
```

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Public page or profile URLs (www, m., profile.php?id=), usernames, numeric ids, or direct .../followers and .../following links, one per line.

## `mode` (type: `string`):

The lists themselves, or a count tracker for monitoring growth.

## `lists` (type: `string`):

Which list of each page or profile (a direct /followers or /following link always reads that list).

## `maxFollowers` (type: `integer`):

Facebook returns 8 per request logged out (measured).

## `maxFollowing` (type: `integer`):

Accounts the page or profile follows.

## `includeProfileDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open every listed account and add its category, followers, contacts, city, work ... (one extra request each; ordinary personal profiles are not public logged out).

## `onlyNewFollowers` (type: `boolean`):

Remember delivered accounts per list (named key-value store "facebook-followers-scraper-state") and return only new ones in later runs.

## `includeTransparency` (type: `boolean`):

Creation date, "running ads" status and confirmed owner from the Page transparency tab (one extra request of about 16 MB per Page).

## `checkAdsLibrary` (type: `boolean`):

For Pages: add hasActiveAds from the public Ad Library (one extra request per Page).

## `historyDepth` (type: `integer`):

Also attach the last N counts recorded by earlier runs of this Actor.

## `maxTotalItems` (type: `integer`):

Stops the whole run after this many dataset rows (all inputs together).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Facebook limits logged-out visitors per IP address. Residential proxies (the default) give the most reliable results; the Actor switches to a fresh IP when Facebook refuses one.
