## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Glassdoor Jobs Scraper — Glassdoor jobs with salary ranges and company ratings

The Glassdoor Jobs Scraper searches Glassdoor jobs by keyword and location and returns one row per job: title, company, rating, location, Glassdoor's salary range, job types, skills and, with details on, the full description, apply link, map position, company website, size, revenue, industry and rating breakdown.

It works logged out: no Glassdoor account, no cookies supplied.

#### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | list | `python developer` (prefill) | One Glassdoor search per line |
| `location` | text | `New York` (prefill) | City, state or country, resolved with Glassdoor's location search; empty = United States |

#### Measured (2026-10-03, one residential IP, no proxy)

| Test | Result |
|---|---|
| `python developer` / New York, 30 jobs with details | 30 rows in 41–54 s (two runs); 10–13 job details read, then Glassdoor rate-limited the details (see limits) |
| `data analyst` / Chicago, 100 jobs, no details | 100 rows in 9 s: page 1 + 3 further pages |
| `software engineer` / United States, contract, remote only, last week | 40 rows: 40/40 contract, all 0–6 days old, 21/40 located "Remote" |
| Unknown location, wrong URL | Clean stop with an error line |

#### Limits (measured)

- **Job details are rate-limited per IP.** From one IP, 13–20 job-details calls succeeded, then Glassdoor answered HTTP 429 with `retry-after` of 231–300 s. The Actor then keeps list fields for the next rows, waits out pauses up to 60 s, and resumes details afterwards. On Apify each new session uses a new proxy IP (not measured from here).
- The remote-only filter returned jobs for a country-wide search and none for New York alone; its results include city locations as well as "Remote".
- `postedDate` is computed from `ageInDays`. Glassdoor's job-listing pages answer a Cloudflare challenge, so they are never opened; the details come from Glassdoor's job-details JSON.
- Filters measured to change results: date posted, job type, remote only, Easy Apply, minimum salary.

#### Example input

```json
{"keywords": ["software engineer"], "location": "United States", "jobType": "contract", "remoteOnly": true, "datePosted": "7", "maxItems": 50}
```

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

One Glassdoor job search per line, e.g. "python developer", "nurse practitioner".

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, state or country as Glassdoor's location box knows it: "New York", "Texas", "United Kingdom". Empty = United States.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Glassdoor job search URLs, e.g. https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/new-york-ny-python-developer-jobs-SRCH_IL.0,11_IC1132348_KO12,28.htm (filters in the URL are kept).

## `datePosted` (type: `string`):

Glassdoor's own date filter.

## `jobType` (type: `string`):

Glassdoor's job-type filter; the id is read from Glassdoor's filter menu on every run.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Glassdoor's "remote only" filter. In our tests it returned jobs for a country-wide search (United States) and none for a single city.

## `easyApplyOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Only jobs with Glassdoor Easy Apply.

## `minSalary` (type: `integer`):

Glassdoor's minimum-salary filter, yearly amount in the site currency (e.g. 120000). 0 = off.

## `scrapeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

One extra request per job for the full description, apply link, map position, company website, size, revenue, industry and rating breakdown. Off = list fields only.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is recommended and is the default.
