## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One query per line, exactly as you would type it into Google, e.g. "what are the top 5 CRM tools" or "best running shoes for flat feet". A Google search URL (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=...\&hl=en) is accepted too and keeps its own q, hl, gl and domain. Question, comparison and "best X" queries trigger the AI answer most often.

## `gl` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code Google answers for, e.g. us, gb, de, in, au.

## `hl` (type: `string`):

Interface / answer language code, e.g. en, de, fr, es, pt-BR.

## `location` (type: `string`):

Localise the answer to a place, written the way Google names it: City,Region,Country - e.g. "Chicago,Illinois,United States" or "London,England,United Kingdom". Sent as Google's uule parameter. Empty = country level.

## `googleDomain` (type: `string`):

Which Google to ask, e.g. google.com, google.co.uk, google.de.

## `targetDomains` (type: `array`):

Domains to check in every answer, e.g. hubspot.com. Each row then says citationState = cited (a source link is on the domain), mentioned (only the answer text names it) or not_cited, plus the cited domains.

## `retryDeferredMaxFetches` (type: `integer`):

Google sometimes sends the results page first and loads the AI answer later (deferred). The Actor then asks for the page again, up to this many times (0-5). Each re-fetch is one more Google results page. A query whose answer stays deferred gets no row (not charged) and is named in the run's status message.

## `includeNoAnswerRows` (type: `boolean`):

On: a query for which Google showed no AI Overview still gets a row (aiOverviewPresent false) - useful for tracking. Off: only answered queries are output.

## `includeOrganic` (type: `boolean`):

Also return the classic organic results of the same search (title, real URL, displayed URL, snippet).

## `maxOrganicResults` (type: `integer`):

With organic results on: how many to collect per query. More than one page (about 10) follows Google's next-page link (start=10, 20 ...) until this number or the last page.

## `captureRawHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Save each results page's HTML in the run's key-value store (key in rawHtmlKey) - for debugging or your own parsing.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many queries are fetched at the same time (1-10).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Google results pages always go through Apify's GOOGLE_SERP proxy (the only route Google answers without a browser). This proxy is used to resolve Google's encrypted source and result links when the direct request is refused.
