## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Google Play Scraper - app details, developer contacts, reviews and search

The Google Play Scraper reads public Google Play pages without a login. In **appDetails** mode it returns
one row per app: title, installs (including the exact install count), rating, rating count, histogram,
price, in-app purchase range, ads flag, genre, content rating, release and update dates, description,
screenshots and the developer's public email, website and postal address. In **reviews** mode it returns
one row per review with stars, text, date, helpful votes, app version and the developer's reply.
Apps can be given as package names, Google Play links or found by search terms.

#### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| `mode` | select | `appDetails` | `appDetails` or `reviews` |
| `appIds` | list of text | `com.spotify.music` (prefill) | Package names or Google Play app links |
| `searchTerms` | list of text | - | Keywords; the apps found are scraped in rank order |
| `maxItems` | integer | 50 | Max apps (appDetails) or max reviews in total (reviews) |
| `maxReviewsPerApp` | integer | 100 | Reviews per app |
| `reviewsSort` | select | `newest` | newest, relevant, rating |
| `language` / `country` | text | `en` / `us` | Google Play language and country |

#### Output

App row: `appId`, `title`, `url`, `developer`, `developerId`, `developerEmail`, `developerWebsite`,
`developerAddress`, `privacyPolicyUrl`, `genre`, `genreId`, `installs`, `minInstalls`, `realInstalls`, `score`,
`ratings`, `reviews`, `histogram`, `price`, `currency`, `free`, `inAppPurchases`, `containsAds`,
`contentRating`, `released`, `updated`, `recentChanges`, `summary`, `description`, `icon`, `headerImage`,
`screenshots`, `language`, `country`, `scrapedAt` (+ `searchTerm`, `searchRank` when searching).

Review row: `reviewId`, `appId`, `appTitle`, `userName`, `userImage`, `score`, `text`, `at`, `thumbsUpCount`,
`appVersion`, `replyText`, `repliedAt`, `url`, `sort`, `language`, `country`, `scrapedAt`.

#### Measured (2026-10-03, local test runs)

- Spotify details in 1 s: exact installs 3,142,248,402, 36,416,929 ratings, support@spotify.com and address.
- 250 Spotify reviews in 7 s (3 pages of up to 100).
- Search "budget tracker" in the UK: 30 apps found, 8 detailed in 12 s, developer email 8/8.

#### Limits

- Google Play web search shows one page per keyword (about 20-30 apps).
- Developer email and address appear only when the developer publishes them.
- Reviews are per language and country - run several combinations for full coverage.

#### Example

```json
{"mode": "reviews", "appIds": ["com.whatsapp"], "reviewsSort": "newest", "maxReviewsPerApp": 1000, "maxItems": 1000}
```
