## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Google Search Scraper - Google results with real URLs, People also ask and AI Overview

Google Search Scraper reads Google results pages for any search query, country, language and
Google domain. It returns the organic results with their real destination URLs, plus People also
ask, related searches and Google's AI Overview with its sources. No login and no cookies.

#### What you get per results page

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `searchQuery` | term, page, url, countryCode, languageCode, domain, dateFilter |
| `organicResults[]` | position, title, url, displayedUrl, siteName, description, date, extensions, sitelinks |
| `peopleAlsoAsk[]` | "What are the top 5 best running shoes?" |
| `relatedQueries[]` | query + Google search URL |
| `aiOverview` | text + sources (real URLs), when Google shows one |
| `paidResults[]` | read when Google serves ads (none were served in our tests) |
| `hasNextPage`, `organicCount`, `scrapedAt` | |

Set **Output format** to "One item per organic result" for a flat table (CSV / Excel friendly).

#### Input

| Field | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Search queries or Google search URLs | - | one per line; a URL keeps its own q, gl, hl, tbs, start |
| Country (gl) | us | two-letter code |
| Language (hl) | en | |
| Google domain | google.com | google.co.uk, google.de, ... |
| Result pages per query | 1 | up to 10 |
| Date filter | any time | past hour / day / week / month / year |
| Output format | per page | or one item per organic result |
| Resolve destination URLs | on | see below |
| Include the AI Overview | on | |
| Max items | 50 | pages, or organic results in the flat format |

#### How it works (measured 2026-10-03)

1. Results pages are fetched through Apify's GOOGLE_SERP proxy. Without it Google answers with a
JavaScript-required page or a CAPTCHA; this Actor never answers a CAPTCHA.
2. Google's 2026 result pages hide each destination behind an encrypted `/goto` link. The Actor
follows each one once (a redirect, no page download) to give the real URL.
3. A blocked page is retried on a new proxy session up to 3 times, then the query is skipped with
an ERROR line naming the reason.

#### Measured limits

- 5 to 10 classic results per page - Google decides, and it varies between requests.
- No text ads were served through the GOOGLE_SERP proxy on any measured page.
- YouTube results carry views and age instead of a snippet.

#### Example

```json
{"queries": "best running shoes\nhttps://www.google.de/search?q=laufschuhe+test&hl=de&gl=de",
 "maxPagesPerQuery": 2, "outputFormat": "page"}
```

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `string`):

One per line. A query (best running shoes, site:example.com pricing) or a full Google search URL (https://www.google.de/search?q=laufschuhe\&hl=de) - a URL keeps its own q, gl, hl, tbs and start.

## `countryCode` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code Google ranks the results for, e.g. us, gb, de, in, bd.

## `languageCode` (type: `string`):

Interface language code, e.g. en, de, fr, es, pt-BR.

## `googleDomain` (type: `string`):

Which Google to ask, e.g. google.com, google.co.uk, google.de.

## `maxPagesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

How many Google result pages (about 10 organic results each) to read per query. Stops early when Google has no next page.

## `dateRange` (type: `string`):

Only results from the past hour, day, week, month or year (Google's Tools > Any time).

## `outputFormat` (type: `string`):

One dataset item per results page (organic results, questions, related searches and AI Overview together), or one flat item per organic result (best for CSV / Excel).

## `resolveUrls` (type: `boolean`):

Google's 2026 result pages hide the destination behind an encrypted /goto link. On: each one is followed once (a tiny redirect request) to give the real URL. Off: faster, gives only Google's link.

## `includeAiOverview` (type: `boolean`):

Add Google's AI Overview text and its source links when Google shows one.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many dataset items (results pages, or organic results in the flat format).
