## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

ideas = expand each seed keyword into new keyword ideas (Google autocomplete, plus Bing / YouTube if chosen) and measure them; metrics = measure only the keywords you give.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Seed keywords (ideas mode) or the keywords to measure (metrics mode), one per line, e.g. keyword research. Commas stay inside a keyword.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code for suggestions and Google Trends, e.g. us, gb, de, in. Leave empty for worldwide Trends (suggestions then use us).

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language code of the suggestions, e.g. en, de, fr, es.

## `includeBing` (type: `boolean`):

Ideas mode: also ask Bing's autosuggest (a second engine's phrasing) for every expansion.

## `includeYouTube` (type: `boolean`):

Ideas mode: also ask YouTube's autocomplete (video and tutorial searches) for every expansion.

## `expandAlphabet` (type: `boolean`):

Ideas mode: also query 'seed a', 'seed b' ... 'seed z' (26 more requests per seed and engine).

## `expandQuestions` (type: `boolean`):

Ideas mode: also query 'how seed', 'what seed', 'why seed' ... (questions people ask).

## `expandPrepositions` (type: `boolean`):

Ideas mode: also query 'seed for', 'seed with', 'seed vs', 'seed near' ...

## `customModifiers` (type: `array`):

Extra words added after each seed (e.g. free, 2026), or a pattern with {keyword} such as 'best {keyword} for'.

## `maxIdeas` (type: `integer`):

Ideas mode: rows per seed (the seed itself included). The expansion requests are followed one by one until this number or until they run out.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many rows in total.

## `includeTrends` (type: `boolean`):

Measure every keyword on Google Trends: relative search interest against the seed (seed = 100), interest per month, trend direction, month-over-month change and peak month. About 2 requests per 4 keywords, spaced 4-7 s.

## `refineLowInterest` (type: `boolean`):

Keywords below 5 (seed = 100) are compared again against a mid-interest keyword, so long-tail values are not rounded to 0 by Google Trends. Adds about 2 requests per 4 such keywords.

## `trendsTimeRange` (type: `string`):

Google Trends window for the interest values.

## `minRelativeInterest` (type: `integer`):

Drop keywords whose Google Trends interest is below this value (seed = 100). 0 keeps everything. Applied after measuring (needs Google Trends on).

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the rows of each seed.

## `includeSerpInfo` (type: `boolean`):

Open Google's results page of every keyword (Apify GOOGLE_SERP proxy, one page per keyword): People also ask questions, related searches, top 10 domains and the features shown (AI Overview, ads, products, videos, forums).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is the default; it is pinned to the chosen country because suggestions follow the visitor's location. Google Trends rate-limits per IP: a 429 moves to a new IP.
