## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## `feedUrls` (type: `array`):

RSS, Atom, RDF or JSON Feed URLs, one per line, e.g. https://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/rss.xml. A website or blog URL (e.g. https://wordpress.org/news/) also works when 'Discover feeds from websites' is on: the feed linked in the page's <link rel="alternate"> is used.

## `maxItemsPerFeed` (type: `integer`):

How many items to save from each feed. When the feed is paged (Atom/RSS rel="next" link such as Blogger, WordPress ?paged=N, JSON Feed next_url) the next pages are followed until this number or the feed's last page. 0 = every page of the feed.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Optional cap for the whole run across all feeds. 0 = no total cap (only Max items per feed applies).

## `followPagination` (type: `boolean`):

Follow the feed's own next-page link (rel="next", WordPress ?paged=N, JSON Feed next_url) to reach older items. Off = only the document at the feed URL.

## `publishedAfter` (type: `string`):

Only items published on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD or a full ISO date-time, UTC). Applied to each item's date; paging stops once a whole page is older. Items without a date are kept. Example: 2026-01-01.

## `includeContent` (type: `boolean`):

Add the item's full body from the feed (content:encoded, Atom content, JSON content_html) as plain text ('content') and HTML ('contentHtml'). Off = only the short description.

## `extractContent` (type: `boolean`):

Also open each item's link and extract the article's main text into 'fullText' (one extra request per item, slower; useful for feeds that publish only a snippet).

## `discoverFeeds` (type: `boolean`):

When a URL is a web page instead of a feed, use the feed it links in <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml"> (comment feeds last), or the common paths /feed/, /rss.xml, /atom.xml, /index.xml, /feed.xml.

## `deduplicateItems` (type: `boolean`):

Save each item (by GUID / id, else link) only once when several feeds in the run carry it.

## `outputErrorRows` (type: `boolean`):

Write one row with type 'error' and the 'error' message for each feed that could not be read (each row counts as a result). Off = failed feeds are only named in the log and the run status.

## `fetchTimeoutSeconds` (type: `integer`):

Time limit for each HTTP request. Example: 30.

## `userAgent` (type: `string`):

Optional User-Agent header for feed requests (some feeds serve only known readers). Empty = a normal desktop Chrome browser.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy settings. RESIDENTIAL (default) gets through feeds behind bot protection; most public feeds also work with the proxy turned off.
