## Pricing

from $2.99 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Trip.com Hotels Scraper - hotels, ratings and facilities from Trip.com

The Trip.com Hotels Scraper extracts public Trip.com hotel pages for a city: hotel name and local name,
star level, guest rating out of 10 with the number of reviews, Trip.com's "from" price, full address,
zone, coordinates, transport and nearby places, opening year, check-in and check-out times, facilities by
category, review tags with counts (for example "Convenient location 1,382"), key facts and photos. Give a
city name or paste Trip.com city, zone or hotel links. No Trip.com account or login is used.

#### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| `cities` | list | `Bangkok` (prefill) | Cities Trip.com links from its hotels page (Bangkok, Tokyo, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Istanbul ...) |
| `startUrls` | list | empty | City / zone lists (`/hotels/<city>-hotels-list-<id>/`, `.../zone<id>/`) or hotel pages (`/hotels/<city>-hotel-detail-<id>/...`) |
| `maxItems` | integer | `20` | Total hotels to return |
| `maxListPages` | integer | `30` | City and zone list pages walked per city to find hotels |
| `proxyConfiguration` | proxy | Apify RESIDENTIAL | Proxy used for Trip.com |

#### Output (one row per hotel)

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `hotelId`, `name`, `localName`, `url` | Trip.com hotel id, names, link |
| `starRating`, `starType` | Star / diamond level |
| `rating`, `ratingScale`, `reviewCount` | Guest rating (out of 10) and number of reviews |
| `priceFrom`, `priceFromText`, `currency` | Trip.com's "From US$13" starting price |
| `address`, `city`, `region`, `country`, `postalCode`, `zone`, `latitude`, `longitude` | Location |
| `transport`, `nearbyPlaces` | Nearest station text and nearby points with distances |
| `openYear`, `checkIn`, `checkOut` | Opening year and check-in / check-out times |
| `facilities`, `reviewTags`, `facts`, `summary` | Facilities by category, review tags with counts, Q\&A facts, page summary |
| `imageUrl`, `photos` | Main image and photo URLs |
| `source`, `scrapedAt` | Input that produced the row, time |

#### Measured limits (2026-10-03, local runs)

- About 1.3 s per hotel (one page each): 20 hotels in 29 s, 100 in 133 s.
- Hotels are found through Trip.com's public city and zone lists (60-96 hotels on a city page, 20-50 more
  per zone page); very large cities may have hotels that no list page links.
- Prices are Trip.com's public "from" prices, not prices for chosen dates (date pricing is loaded by the
  site's interactive search, which this Actor does not use).
- Cities not linked from https://www.trip.com/hotels/ need their list URL in `startUrls`.
- Tested without proxy from one residential IP; no bot challenge was met. A challenge is never solved: the
  Actor retries on a new IP, then skips the target with an error in the log.

#### Example

```json
{"cities": ["Tokyo", "Singapore"], "maxItems": 200, "maxListPages": 20}
```

# Actor input Schema
