## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

channels = one profile row per channel in 'Channel usernames' (followers, live status, last broadcast, social links, optional recent VODs and top clips); searchChannels = channels matching 'Search query'; topStreams = the most-watched live streams on Twitch; gameStreams = live streams of the category in 'Game / category name'; topGames = the most-watched categories; searchGames = categories matching 'Search query'; clips / videos = clips or VODs of each channel in 'Channel usernames' (or of the category in 'Game / category name').

## `channelUsernames` (type: `array`):

Twitch channels, one per line: a login (shroud), @login or channel URL (https://www.twitch.tv/pokimane). Used by the modes channels, clips and videos.

## `searchQuery` (type: `array`):

Keywords for searchChannels / searchGames, one search per line (e.g. speedrun). Twitch's own search, followed page by page (30 per page) up to Max items per query.

## `gameName` (type: `string`):

For gameStreams (and clips / videos when no channel is given): the exact category name (Just Chatting, VALORANT) or its directory URL (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/just-chatting).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum rows per search query, category or channel list. Searches follow Twitch's cursor 30 per page; other lists are limited by what Twitch shows logged out (see the log).

## `includeVideos` (type: `boolean`):

Add 'recentVideos' (id, title, views, duration, date, game, thumbnail) to each channel row.

## `includeClips` (type: `boolean`):

Add 'topClips' (title, views, duration, clipper, URL) of the clip period below to each channel row.

## `videosPerChannel` (type: `integer`):

How many recent videos and top clips go into each channel row (channels mode). Twitch shows up to 100 logged out.

## `clipsPeriod` (type: `string`):

Period for clips (clips mode and topClips).

## `clipsSort` (type: `string`):

Most viewed or trending (Twitch's own clip sorts).

## `videoType` (type: `string`):

Which VODs (videos mode and recentVideos).

## `videoSort` (type: `string`):

Most recent or most viewed.

## `streamSort` (type: `string`):

Order of a category's live streams. When Max items is above one page, the other orders are also read and merged (deduplicated) to reach more streams.

## `languages` (type: `array`):

Optional. Only streams in these broadcaster languages, two-letter codes (EN, DE, ES, JA ...).

## `minViewers` (type: `integer`):

Optional. topStreams / gameStreams: drop live streams with fewer current viewers (applied to the rows Twitch returns).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify residential proxies are the default. Twitch's web API answers from any country.
