## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Wellfound role, e.g. "software engineer", "data scientist", "product manager". Comma-separated for several roles (OR). Each role opens Wellfound's own role page (wellfound.com/role/<role>); combine with Location, or with Remote only for the remote list.

## `location` (type: `array`):

Wellfound location as in its URLs, one per line, e.g. "new-york", "san-francisco", "london", "bangalore" (spaces are fine: "New York"). With a role keyword: wellfound.com/role/l/<role>/<location>; alone: wellfound.com/location/<location>.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Wellfound search pages such as https://wellfound.com/role/l/software-engineer/new-york, https://wellfound.com/role/r/data-scientist (remote), https://wellfound.com/location/london, or single job pages https://wellfound.com/jobs/4787364-software-engineer. Every page of each search is followed.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Role keyword without a location: reads Wellfound's remote list (wellfound.com/role/r/<role>). Every search: keeps only jobs Wellfound marks as remote.

## `jobType` (type: `string`):

Keep only this Wellfound job type (applied to the listed jobs; Wellfound's role pages take no job-type parameter).

## `experience` (type: `string`):

Keep only this seniority. Read from the title words, else from Wellfound's minimum years of experience; also written to the seniorityLevel column.

## `jobTitle` (type: `string`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains this text (case-insensitive). Comma-separated alternatives, e.g. "backend, platform".

## `includeCompanies` (type: `array`):

Company names, Wellfound company slugs or company URLs, e.g. "Chalk", "chalk-ai", https://wellfound.com/company/chalk-ai. Other companies are skipped.

## `excludeCompanies` (type: `array`):

Company names, slugs or company URLs to skip.

## `companyCategories` (type: `array`):

Keep only companies in one of these Wellfound industries (text match), e.g. "Machine Learning", "Fintech", "Healthcare". Read from each job page, so the job pages are opened.

## `minSalary` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs whose salary range reaches at least this amount per year, in the currency Wellfound shows for the job (no conversion), e.g. 120000. 0 = off.

## `maxSalary` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs whose salary range starts at or below this amount per year (job's own currency). 0 = off.

## `includeNoSalary` (type: `boolean`):

When a salary filter is set: also keep jobs that publish no salary range.

## `equityMin` (type: `number`):

Keep jobs whose equity range reaches at least this percentage, e.g. 0.5. Jobs without equity are skipped while this is set. 0 = off.

## `visaSponsorship` (type: `string`):

Wellfound's Visa Sponsorship line of each job page (the job pages are opened for this).

## `datePosted` (type: `string`):

Keep only jobs whose Wellfound posting time is this recent.

## `maxAgeMinutes` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted within this many minutes (useful for frequent scheduled runs). 0 = off.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Wellfound's role pages have no sort parameter: with newest / oldest every page of each search is read first (up to Max pages), then the jobs are sorted and the first Max jobs are saved.

## `enrichDetail` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the job page data: HTML description, skills, visa sponsorship, relocation, remote policy, company website, industry, coordinates, company industries, funding and founders (one extra request per job).

## `incrementalMode` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers the jobs of earlier runs in a named key-value store (wellfound-jobs-state) and saves only jobs that are new or changed since then; rows get changeType, firstSeenAt, isRepost and repostOfId. Use with a schedule.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Name of the remembered state for incremental mode, e.g. "sf-engineers". Empty = derived from the searches and filters, so the same input shares one state.

## `emitUnchanged` (type: `boolean`):

Incremental mode: also save jobs seen before without changes (changeType UNCHANGED).

## `emitExpired` (type: `boolean`):

Incremental mode: save one row (changeType EXPIRED) for each remembered job that is no longer listed. Only when the run read every page of every search (not stopped by Max jobs or Max pages).

## `skipReposts` (type: `boolean`):

Skip a job whose company and title match a job with another id (already saved in this run, or remembered by incremental mode).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total. Each search is followed page by page (20 companies, about 40 jobs per page) up to Wellfound's last page, e.g. 17 pages for software engineer in New York.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Read at most this many result pages per search. 0 = all pages.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy is the default and recommended.
