## Pricing

from $2.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

What to look for, one per line, e.g. plumber, pizza, dentist. Each term is searched in every location. For the UAE site this is the category name (plumbing -> /uae/plumbing).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Where to search, one per line: 'City, ST' or a ZIP for the US (Austin, TX / 90210), 'City PR' for Canada (Toronto ON). Required for US searches. For the UAE site an emirate/city (Dubai, Abu Dhabi) filters the category's listings by city.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Result pages copied from the browser, e.g. https://www.yellowpages.com/search?search_terms=dentist\&geo_location_terms=Miami%2C+FL, https://www.yellowpages.com/los-angeles-ca/plumbers, a business page https://www.yellowpages.com/austin-tx/mip/<name>-<id>, https://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/1/plumber/Toronto+ON or https://www.yellowpages-uae.com/uae/plumbing.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which Yellow Pages the search terms are run on. URLs always use their own site.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Canada searches only: yellowpages.ca (English) or pagesjaunes.ca (French).

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

US searches: Yellow Pages' own sort menu (checked against the page's menu on every run).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Total businesses to return across all searches. The Actor follows Yellow Pages' result pages (US 30, UAE 20 per page) until this number or the last page.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Stop each search after this many result pages (0 = no page limit; Max items still applies). Yellow Pages US shows about 100 pages (~3,000 listings) per search - split big searches by city or ZIP.

## `scrapeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

US listings: also open each business page for GPS coordinates, opening hours, description, services, payment methods, year established, languages, social links, photos and the full 'More Info' section. One extra request per business.

## `includeReviews` (type: `boolean`):

US listings: add the business's reviews (author, date, rating, text, source) from its profile page, paging 10 reviews at a time up to Max reviews per business. Opens the profile page like the option above.

## `maxReviews` (type: `integer`):

With 'Include review text': reviews per business (10 per review page).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many business profiles are opened at the same time (each on its own proxy session).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

RESIDENTIAL is recommended: yellowpages.com (Cloudflare) and yellowpages.ca (CloudFront) block datacenter and foreign IPs. When the country is left at US, Canada and UAE searches switch the exit to CA / AE automatically.
