## Pricing

from $1.85 / 1,000 post returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Facebook Page Feed Scraper: Public Posts, No Login

This Facebook Page scraper gets posts from public Facebook Pages and exports them to CSV, Excel or JSON. No login, no cookies, no API token and no Facebook account needed.

Each row gives the post text, date, likes, reaction types, comments, shares, video views, images and links. Date filters are free, and you pay per Page read and per post returned. Addresses that could not be read cost nothing.

### What it does

- **Reads public Pages.** Give it a Page address such as `https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth/`, a `profile.php?id=` or `/people/Name/ID/` address, or just the name `nasaearth` or `@nasaearth`.
- **Returns the numbers Facebook shows for a post.** Likes, each reaction type, comments, shares and, for videos, views.
- **Filters by date at no extra charge.** Keep posts newer than a date, `today`, or a period such as `24 hours` or `7 days`, older than a date, or both. Posts left out are not charged. A date alone means midnight UTC.
- **Keeps reading when a feed stops early.** If Facebook stops serving a Page partway, the Actor continues from the date of the last post and drops any post it already gave you.
- **Gives the reason in a free row.** If a Page has no posts in your range, is not shown to visitors, was refused by Facebook, or has fewer posts than you asked for, you get a row that says so, at no charge.
- **Names both sides of a joint post.** `pageName` is the Page you asked for, and `coAuthors` lists the others named on the post.

### What you can use it for

- Follow what competitors and brands post, and which posts get a reaction.
- Run the same Pages every day with `onlyPostsNewerThan` set to `1 day` and get only what is new.
- Measure engagement across a list of Pages for a report.
- Collect public posts for news monitoring, research and AI datasets.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more addresses or names under **Facebook Pages**.
2. Set **Posts per Page**, and a date range if you want one.
3. Press **Start**, then export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON or through the API.

**Input options**

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| `startUrls` | Public Page addresses or Page names |
| `resultsLimit` | Most posts from each Page, newest first. Up to 5000. If empty, 50 |
| `onlyPostsNewerThan` | Only posts from this date on, such as `2026-01-31` (midnight UTC), `today`, or a period such as `24 hours` or `7 days` |
| `onlyPostsOlderThan` | Only posts from before this date or period |
| `maxItems` | Most posts in total across all Pages |

**Example input**

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth/"],
  "resultsLimit": 20,
  "onlyPostsNewerThan": "30 days"
}
```

### What you get

```json
{
  "dataType": "post",
  "facebookUrl": "https://www.facebook.com/example/",
  "postId": "1234567890",
  "url": "https://www.facebook.com/example/posts/1234567890",
  "time": "2026-10-30T14:05:00.000Z",
  "timestamp": 1793369100,
  "text": "Example post text",
  "likes": 1520,
  "reactions": [{ "type": "Like", "count": 1204 }, { "type": "Love", "count": 280 }],
  "comments": 64,
  "shares": 31,
  "videoViews": null,
  "isVideo": false,
  "thumbnail": "https://example.com/image.jpg",
  "link": "https://example.org/article",
  "media": [{ "type": "photo", "id": "111", "url": "https://example.com/image.jpg", "width": 1080, "height": 1080, "videoUrl": null }],
  "sharedPostUrl": null,
  "pageName": "Example Page",
  "coAuthors": null,
  "pageId": "100000000000",
  "pageUrl": "https://www.facebook.com/example"
}
```

`likes` is the total of all reactions. A value Facebook does not show is `null`, never a guess. Image and video addresses are temporary links from Facebook and stop working after some days, so download what you want to keep.

Rows with `"dataType": "note"` are free. They carry a `reason` and a `message` that say why something was not returned.

### What does it cost?

You pay per post returned, plus a small charge for each Page read and each time the Actor starts. Filters cost nothing extra.

| Apify plan | Per 1,000 posts | Per Page read |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $4.50 | $0.015 |
| Bronze | $3.60 | $0.012 |
| Silver | $2.30 | $0.010 |
| Gold and above | $1.85 | $0.008 |

A Page is charged once per run as soon as Facebook shows its posts, even if none of them falls in your date range, because they still have to be read. Addresses that were refused, could not be read or show no public Page cost nothing.

Each start costs $0.002 with the default 1 GB of memory. Set a maximum total charge on the run, and the Actor stops there and says so.

### Frequently asked questions

**How do I scrape posts from a Facebook Page without logging in?**
Paste the Page address under **Facebook Pages** and press **Start**. No account or cookies are needed.

**How do I get only new posts from a Facebook Page every day?**
Set `onlyPostsNewerThan` to `24 hours` and schedule the Actor daily. Older posts are not charged, so a Page with nothing new costs only the charge for reading the Page.

**Do I need the Facebook Graph API or an access token?**
No. The Actor reads what any visitor can see on a public Page, so there is no app to register and no token to renew.

**Can I export Facebook posts to Excel or CSV?**
Yes. Every run can be downloaded as CSV, Excel, JSON or HTML, or read through the API.

**Does it give comment text?**
It gives the number of comments for each post, not the comments themselves.

**Can I use it from my own code or an AI agent?**
Yes. Start it through the Apify API or the Apify MCP server, and read the rows as JSON.

**What if a post has no text?**
`text` is `null`, and the photo or video details are still returned.

### Good to know

- **Personal data is your responsibility.** Posts can name or show people. Emails and phone numbers in post text are masked and `wa.me`, `mailto:` and `tel:` links are left empty, but names and other details stay. The usual Facebook rules and privacy laws such as GDPR apply to how you use the data.
- This Actor is made for public Pages, and reads only what Facebook shows without logging in. It cannot tell every personal profile from a Page, so a public profile address may return posts and be charged the same way. Groups, events and single post addresses are refused with a free row.
- Facebook shows some Pages only to logged-in visitors, for example those limited by age or country. Those Pages get a free `not-found` row.
- Facebook sometimes answers with a security check or an error page. Those addresses get a free `blocked` row, and if most addresses are refused the run stops and lists the rest in `notCheckedUrls`.
- Pinned posts can appear out of date order at the top of a Page.
- Reading takes about 30 to 40 posts per minute for each Page, with up to 4 Pages at once. The default run timeout is 1 hour, so very large runs (for example 5,000 posts from several Pages) need a longer timeout.
- If a run reaches its time limit or maximum charge, the last row lists the Pages not read (`notCheckedUrls`) and those cut off (`cutOffPages`). Resurrecting the same run continues without charging again. A new run starts over and charges again for any post it returns.

### Thanks for using this Actor

We build these tools for people who run them every day, and we improve them from what users tell us.

- **Missing a field, or need another filter?** Tell us in the **Issues** tab. If the data is there, we add it.
- **Found a bug or a wrong value?** Post the run ID in the **Issues** tab. Wrong data is the thing we fix first.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Public Facebook Page addresses or Page names, for example https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth/, nasaearth or @nasaearth. profile.php?id= and /people/Name/ID/ addresses work too. Groups, events and single post addresses are refused with a free row.

## `resultsLimit` (type: `integer`):

The most posts to return from each Page, newest first. Up to 5000. If left empty, 50. Reading takes about 30 to 40 posts per minute for each Page, so for large numbers raise the run timeout.

## `onlyPostsNewerThan` (type: `string`):

Keep posts from this date on: a date like 2026-01-31 (read as midnight UTC), today, yesterday, or a period back from now like "24 hours", "7 days" or "2 months". Posts left out are not charged. Leave empty for no limit.

## `onlyPostsOlderThan` (type: `string`):

Keep posts from before this date: a date like 2025-12-31 (read as midnight UTC), today, yesterday, or a period like "1 year". The search starts from that date, and posts left out are not charged. Leave empty for no limit.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop the whole run after this many posts across all Pages. Leave empty for no total limit.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.facebook.com/nasaearth/"
  ],
  "resultsLimit": 20
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One row per public Page post: text, date, reactions, comment and share counts, video views, images, links and the Page. Rows with dataType "note" are free and say why something was not returned.
