## Pricing

from $9.00 / 1,000 useful product observations

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Shop Product Monitor

Check the products you already care about. Get current prices, public sold counters, ratings, reviews and availability evidence in a clean dataset ready for your own monitoring history.

Useful for TikTok Shop researchers, affiliate creators and ecommerce teams following a selected product watchlist. Run it in Apify Console, export CSV/JSON, or connect through the API. A separate digital kit or Google Sheets connector is optional.

### Quick start

1. Open **Input**, start with the two product examples below, and replace their URLs with yours. Keep a unique, stable `watchId` for every watch entry.
2. Use **1024 MB** and one parallel check for your first run. Set a spending cap, for example **$0.10**. The two useful example targets would cost **$0.028** including the start event.
3. Run the Actor. After **SUCCEEDED**, open **Product observations** and **Run SUMMARY**. A completed run may still contain partial or unsuccessful product checks.

The examples are real direct US product URLs; their values and availability can change.

Supported links include current `https://www.tiktok.com/shop/pdp/...` and legacy `https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/...`. Only the **US storefront** is supported. This Actor checks selected URLs; keyword discovery is a separate workflow.

### What you receive

Each completed run returns **one flat observation per watch entry** in the default dataset and a separate **SUMMARY** record in its default key-value store. All 35 observation fields are present. Missing values are `null`, not zero.

The **Product observations** view highlights prices, public sold counts and reviews. **Quality and freshness** shows check status, precision and errors. Views are presentation aids; use the complete dataset when importing monitoring history.

#### Example observation

One illustrative row from a two-product check. Values, timestamps and example run/storage IDs below are illustrative, not a current product quote.

  "unknownCount": 0,
  "unavailableConfirmedCount": 0,
  "billableResultsCount": 2,
  "overallStatus": "PARTIAL",
  "reasonCodes": []
}
```
`SUMMARY.observationCount` counts rows. `billableResultsCount` counts useful **unique product/variant targets**, so duplicate watch entries can create more rows without additional result fees.
### Interpret quality correctly
| Field / status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `OK` | Identity, name, exact price, currency, rating, exact review count and sold count were captured. |
| `PARTIAL` | Identity is confirmed, but some metrics are missing or ambiguous. A title-only partial record has no result fee. |
| `UNKNOWN` | Current product/variant evidence could not be confirmed, or the check was skipped because of budget. It does not mean sold out or zero sales. |
| `UNAVAILABLE_CONFIRMED` | The identified product or requested variant has explicit unavailable/sold-out evidence. |
| `priceType=EXACT` | `price` is a confirmed numeric price for the identified target. |
| `priceType=RANGE` | Keep `price=null` and use `priceDisplay`; never turn a minimum or range into an exact price. |
| `salesCountPrecision=EXACT` | The source displayed a numeric public sold count. This is not a guarantee of independently audited sales. |
| `salesCountPrecision=ROUNDED` | The public display is rounded; small real changes may be hidden by rounding. |
| `availabilityStatus=UNKNOWN` | The page did not provide sufficient availability evidence. Price/review data alone do not prove stock. |
Public sold counters may be **global, rounded or corrected**. US identifies the storefront checked; it does not establish US-only sales. The Actor does not return exact daily sales, 30-day sales, GMV, revenue, commission or guaranteed winners. Rounded review counts are omitted because the contract has no review-precision field.
#### Products and variants
For product-level monitoring, omit `skuId`. For a specific variant, add its exact ID **as a string** to the watch entry. The selected SKU must match current source evidence; otherwise the result is `UNKNOWN` with `VARIANT_UNCONFIRMED`. Another variant's price is never substituted.
Sold/review totals remain **product-level**, even in SKU observations. Do not sum them across variants. Two watch IDs for the same product/SKU share at most one useful-result fee. Different requested SKUs are separate targets.
### Pricing and spending caps
- **$0.009** per saved, identity-confirmed, useful unique product/variant observation.
- **$0.01 per GB** of memory at startup, minimum one start event.
- Minimum allowed spending cap: **$0.05**. This is a cap setting, not a minimum bill.
A useful result is `OK` or `PARTIAL` with confirmed identity and at least one numeric price/original price, rating, exact review count or sold count. `UNKNOWN`, confirmed unavailable, duplicate targets, retries, SUMMARY and partial records without useful numeric metrics have **no result fee**. Startup fees also apply to failed/no-data runs.
| Useful unique targets | Memory | Event fees |
|---:|---:|---:|
| 10 | 1024 MB | $0.10 |
| 20 | 1024 MB | $0.19 |
| 50 | 2048 MB | $0.47 |
Results are saved before result charges are requested. If the cap cannot fund another useful target, remaining entries return `UNKNOWN` / `BUDGET_LIMIT`. At a $0.05 cap with 1024 MB, startup plus four useful results costs $0.046. Keep previous validated metrics for the skipped entries.
The optional **$19 digital kit** is a separate one-time purchase. It does not include Actor runs. This Actor can be used independently of the kit. Public Store pricing and any additional usage terms are shown on the Actor's Pricing page.
### Memory, retries and limits
Use 1–100 entries with unique `watchId` values. IDs must remain strings. Defaults: one parallel check, 45-second navigation timeout, two attempts per unique target, and extra source details off.
Use **2048 MB** for two parallel checks; workloads of 10/20/50 products have been checked. The input ceiling is 100 entries; 100-product throughput has not been benchmarked. HTTP is tried first, with a browser fallback when needed. US residential proxy is the current default connection.
`includeRawData=true` saves sanitized source details as separate DEBUG records in the run key-value store. It never prints those records to the run log or mixes them into the observation dataset.
### Common outcomes and next steps
| Code / outcome | Next step |
|---|---|
| `SOURCE_BLOCKED`, `SOURCE_TIMEOUT`, `SOURCE_HTTP_ERROR`, `SOURCE_NETWORK_ERROR` | Keep the last validated metrics and try a later bounded run. |
| `NO_PRODUCT_DATA` | Open the direct product URL and check that it still resolves to that product. |
| `IDENTITY_MISMATCH` | Review the URL; the response points to a different product. |
| `VARIANT_UNCONFIRMED` | Check the SKU ID or use product-level monitoring. |
| `BUDGET_LIMIT` | Reduce the watchlist or increase your approved spending cap. |
| Invalid input / failed run / missing SUMMARY | Correct the input or inspect the run status. Do not import an incomplete dataset. |
`NO_DATA` in SUMMARY means the run finished its checks without usable observations. It is different from an Apify `FAILED` run.
### Export and API
In the run's dataset, choose **Export** and select JSON or CSV. Export all fields for a connector. CSV blanks represent missing data, not zero; import IDs and labels as literal text.
For an asynchronous API start, save the example as `input.json` and store your token privately:
```bash
curl -X POST \
  "https://api.apify.com/v2/actors/6EAxcKlzd0X1nb63D/runs?waitForFinish=0&memory=1024&timeout=600&maxTotalChargeUsd=0.10" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  --data @input.json
```
Save the returned `data.id`, then poll `GET /v2/actor-runs/<RUN_ID>`. After SUCCEEDED, read:
- `GET /v2/key-value-stores/<STORE_ID>/records/SUMMARY`
- `GET /v2/datasets/<DATASET_ID>/items?format=json&offset=0&limit=100&desc=false&clean=false`
Read every page until the count matches SUMMARY. Keep the token in the Authorization header, never in a worksheet cell or URL.
### Use with Google Sheets or another history store
Your external connector starts a run, validates **SUCCEEDED + SUMMARY + the complete dataset**, and imports idempotently by `observationId`. Re-reading a dataset must not create duplicate history. A new run produces new observation IDs; `watchKey` stays stable for the same product/SKU.
Keep UTC `observedAt` values and compare compatible prices, currencies and count precision. Retain the last validated metric when a new check is UNKNOWN. A first observation is a baseline. Derive price/review/sold-counter changes from spaced history; daily growth estimates describe public-counter movement, not exact US daily sales.
The Actor does **not** create a Google spreadsheet, write to Sheets, store Google credentials, maintain multi-day history, create schedules or send notifications. Those belong to your connector and account. You may save an Apify Task for your own watchlist; enabling a paid schedule is a separate choice.
