## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 searches

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Realestate.com.au Scraper: Buy, Rent & Sold Listings

![Realestate.com.au Scraper: buy, rent and sold listings for many suburbs, with pay-per-event pricing on a real-estate sign board](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/6waLYdoBvJmAfSq8Q/records/banner.png?signature=1uiwGEVyOaEhn64DippaR)

Scrape **realestate.com.au listings for many locations in one run**: for sale,
for rent and recently sold. Every listing comes with its address, price,
bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, land and building size, inspections and
auction, rent availability, sold date, agency, agents, photos and floorplans.

### Why this scraper

- **Many searches per run.** List searches (location + channel + filters),
  give locations with one set of filters, or paste search URLs from the site
  with any filters it offers.
- **Buy, rent and sold** in the same run.
- **Up to ~2,000 listings per search** (the site's own limit), every listing
  once, in the site's order.
- **Pay only for results.** A search that finds nothing costs nothing.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Searches** | One search per entry (examples below). Unset filters take the run-wide values. |
| **Locations** | Many locations with the run-wide filters. |
| **Search URLs** | realestate.com.au search result URLs, with any filters the site offers. |
| **Channel** | Buy (for sale), Rent or Sold. |
| **Property types, Min bedrooms, Min / Max price, Sort** | Run-wide filters. Prices are AUD (per week for rent). |
| **Include nearby listings** | The site adds listings from surrounding suburbs to small searches; they're marked `nearby`. |
| **Max listings per search / in total** | Caps your cost. |
| **Proxy** | Keep the default (Apify residential, Australia). |

A location is a suburb, postcode, city, region or state, as you'd type it on
realestate.com.au (`Bondi, NSW 2026`, `Perth, WA`, `Hobart`).

#### Example: rentals and houses for sale

```json
{
  "searches": [
    {"location": "Bondi, NSW 2026", "channel": "rent", "maxPrice": 1200},
    {"location": "Perth, WA", "channel": "buy", "propertyTypes": ["house"], "minBedrooms": 3}
  ],
  "maxItemsPerSearch": 200
}
```

#### Example: recent sales in many suburbs

```json
{
  "locations": ["Paddington, NSW 2021", "Fitzroy, VIC 3065", "New Farm, QLD 4005"],
  "channel": "sold",
  "sort": "list-date",
  "maxItemsPerSearch": 500
}
```

#### Example: your own search URL

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{"url": "https://www.realestate.com.au/buy/property-house-with-4-bedrooms-between-1000000-any-in-perth,+wa/list-1"}]
}
```

- `price` is the price text the listing shows ("$689,000 +", "Auction",
  "$1,900 per week", the sold price for sold listings).
- `channel` is `buy`, `rent` or `sold`; `dateSold`, `availableDate` and
  `bond` fill in for sold and rent listings.

### Pricing

Pay per event, platform usage included:

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Run start | $0.03 (at the default 1 GB) |
| Search that returned listings | $0.003 per search |
| Listing | $1.50 per 1,000 |

Examples:

| Run | Cost |
|---|---|
| 4 locations, 100 listings each | about $0.64 |
| 10 locations, 500 each (5,000 listings) | about $7.56 |

A search with no listings is not charged, and the run stops at your
spending limit without charging for anything it didn't deliver.

### Tips

- **Keep the default proxy** (Apify residential, Australia). realestate.com.au
  is protected by Kasada; the scraper opens it in a real browser once and then
  pages through results quickly.
- **Later runs start faster.** The browser session is kept for about 20
  minutes, so runs close together skip the browser step.
- **More than ~2,000 results?** Split the search by suburb, property type or
  price range.
- **Market monitoring?** Schedule the same input daily and compare by `id`.

### FAQ

**Which listings are included?** The ones realestate.com.au shows for your
search, including its "nearby" suggestions unless you turn them off.

**Can I run it on a schedule or through the API?** Yes, like any Apify Actor:
schedules, the Apify API, webhooks and integrations (Make, Zapier, Google
Sheets and others).

**Is it legal?** The Actor collects publicly shown listings; it doesn't log
in. Listings include agents' names as published by the agencies. You are
responsible for using the data in line with realestate.com.au's terms and
the privacy laws that apply to you.
