Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Google Maps Reputation Leads

Find local businesses that need marketing help and get a ready-to-call lead list: **rating under 4.0**, **no website**, or **unclaimed Google Business Profile**, with emails and social links pulled from their own website, an opportunity score and a suggested pitch.

Built for marketing agencies, web designers, local SEO and reputation-management freelancers who sell to dentists, restaurants, contractors, clinics, gyms, salons and every other local business on Google Maps.

### What you get

One row per lead, sorted by opportunity score (0-100):

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| name, category | Access Dental & Orthodontics, Dentist |
| rating, reviews | 3.6, 265 |
| signals | `["low_rating"]`, `["no_website", "unclaimed"]` |
| opportunityScore | 49 |
| pitch | Review recovery and reputation management |
| phone, website, emails, socials | +1 512..., https://..., info@..., facebook/instagram/linkedin |
| address, city, state, postalCode, countryCode | |
| googleMapsUrl, placeId, claimed, searchTerm | |

### How it works

1. Scans Google Maps for your search terms in a location (uses the Google Maps Scraper under the hood, billed separately on your account at its own per-place price).
2. Keeps only places that match your filters: max rating, min reviews, no website, unclaimed.
3. Visits each lead's website (home + contact page) and extracts emails and social profiles.
4. Scores every lead: lower rating with more reviews, missing website and unclaimed profile all raise the score.

### Input

| Field | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| searchQueries | `["dentist"]` | One per line, anything you would type in Google Maps |
| location | `Austin, USA` | City + country works best |
| maxPlacesPerQuery | 100 | Places scanned per term before filtering |
| maxRating | 4.0 | Keep places rated at or below. 5 disables |
| minReviews | 5 | Ignore dormant listings |
| onlyWithoutWebsite | false | Web design lead list |
| onlyUnclaimed | false | GBP / local SEO lead list |
| includeAllSignals | true | ANY signal keeps the place; off = ALL enabled filters must match |
| enrichEmails | true | Crawl business website for emails and socials |
| skipClosed | true | |
| language | en | |

### Pricing

Pay per lead delivered. You only pay for places that pass your filters, not for every place scanned. The Google Maps scan itself is charged by the Google Maps Scraper on your account (about $0.004 per place on the free plan, less on paid plans).

Example: 1 search term, 200 places scanned, 45 leads → Google Maps scan ≈ $0.80 + leads 45 × price per lead.

### Tips

- Combine a few terms per run: `dentist`, `dental clinic`, `orthodontist`.
- For web-design outreach set `onlyWithoutWebsite: true`, `maxRating: 5`.
- For reputation services set `maxRating: 4.0`, `minReviews: 20`: businesses with many reviews and a low score lose the most money.
- Export as CSV or Excel from the Dataset tab, or connect to Google Sheets, HubSpot, Make or n8n via Apify integrations.

### Legal

Collects public business information only (name, category, rating, address, phone, website, business emails). Does not collect reviewer or personal data.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

What you would type into Google Maps, one per line. Example: <b>dentist</b>, <b>roofing contractor</b>, <b>italian restaurant</b>.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City + country works best, e.g. <b>Austin, USA</b> or <b>Manchester, UK</b>.

## `maxPlacesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

How many Google Maps places to scan for each search term before filtering. More places = more leads, higher Google Maps cost.

## `maxRating` (type: `number`):

Keep only places with a Google rating at or below this value. 4.0 finds businesses losing customers to bad reviews. Set to 5 to disable.

## `minReviews` (type: `integer`):

Skip places with fewer reviews than this (tiny or dormant listings).

## `onlyWithoutWebsite` (type: `boolean`):

Lead list for web design / Google Business Profile agencies. When on, the rating filter is ignored unless you also set it.

## `onlyUnclaimed` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only listings showing 'Claim this business' (owner never claimed the profile). Great for local SEO outreach.

## `includeAllSignals` (type: `boolean`):

When on, a place is kept if it matches ANY of: low rating, no website, unclaimed. When off, it must match ALL enabled filters.

## `enrichEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Visits the business website (home + contact page) and extracts emails, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn links. Adds a few seconds per lead.

## `skipClosed` (type: `boolean`):

Closed businesses are not leads.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Google Maps language code, e.g. en, de, fr, es, vi.
