## Pricing

from $4.00 / 1,000 company scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company & Profile Scraper

**Give it LinkedIn company pages or public profiles, get structured JSON back — without logging in.** No LinkedIn account, no cookies, no session to get restricted. Pass full links (`https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/`, `https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates`) or just the name from the link.

**You are charged only for results that actually came back.** A company page that does not exist, or a profile that is not visible to logged-out visitors, produces an explanatory row and costs nothing.

| | |
|---|---|
| **Input** | Company page links or names, public profile links or names, or a CSV / Google Sheet of them |
| **Output** | One row per company (industry, size, HQ, website, followers, employees on LinkedIn, optional latest job openings) and one row per public profile (name, headline, titles, current companies, location, education, past organizations, followers) |
| **Price** | **$0.004 per company · $0.004 per profile — the same on every Apify plan** |
| **Login** | **None.** Only pages LinkedIn shows to logged-out visitors are read |

### What you get

#### Companies

Real output for `stripe` with `includeJobs` (lists shortened with "…"):

```json
{
  "itemType": "company",
  "companyId": "2135371",
  "slug": "stripe",
  "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/",
  "name": "Stripe",
  "tagline": "Help increase the GDP of the internet.",
  "website": "https://stripe.com",
  "industry": "Technology, Information and Internet",
  "companySize": "5,001-10,000 employees",
  "employeesOnLinkedIn": 16694,
  "followers": 1773257,
  "headquarters": "South San Francisco, California",
  "companyType": "Privately Held",
  "founded": 2010,
  "latestJobsWindow": "last 30 days",
  "latestJobs": [
    {
      "jobId": "4472085577",
      "title": "Product Marketing Manager, Revenue suite",
      "company": "Stripe",
      "location": "San Francisco, CA",
      "postedAt": "2026-10-17",
      "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4472085577/"
    },
      "postedAt": "2026-10-17",
      "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4472088479/"
    },
    "…"
  ]
}
```

- `companySize` is LinkedIn's own size bracket; `employeesOnLinkedIn` is the number of people who list the
  company on their profile — the two are different numbers on purpose, and both are useful.
- `companyId` is LinkedIn's numeric ID. Store it: slugs change when companies rename, IDs do not.
- A company whose slug changed is followed to its new page; two inputs that land on the same company are
  delivered and charged once.

#### Latest job openings (optional, `includeJobs`)

Tick `includeJobs` and each company row also carries `latestJobs` — the company's newest open roles on
LinkedIn (up to about 10, newest first): `title`, `location`, `postedAt`, `url`. Roles posted in the last 30
days are asked for first; if there are none, the newest from any time are returned, and `latestJobsWindow`
says which. It answers "is this company hiring right now, and for what" — a common trigger for sales outreach.
It is a sample of recent postings, not a count of all open jobs. Included in the per-company price.

#### Profiles

Real output for `reidhoffman` (lists and long descriptions shortened with "…"):

```json
{
  "itemType": "profile",
    "Co-Founder, Board Member",
    "Partner",
  ],
  "location": "United States",
  "countryCode": "US",
  "followers": 2796886,
  "connections": "500+",
  "currentCompanies": [
    {
      "name": "Manas AI",
      "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/manas-ai",
      "startDate": "2022-03",
      "endDate": null
    },
    "…"
  ],
  "education": [
    {
      "name": "Università degli Studi di Perugia",
      "url": "https://it.linkedin.com/school/universit-degli-studi-di-perugia/",
      "title": null,
      "description": null,
      "startDate": "2024-05",
      "endDate": "2024-05"
    },
    {
      "name": "University of Oulu",
      "url": "https://fi.linkedin.com/school/university-of-oulu/",
      "title": null,
      "description": "The University of Oulu is an international science university which creates new knowledge, well-being and innovations for the future through research and education. The University of Oulu, founded in 1958, is one of the biggest and most multidisciplinary universities in Finland.",
      "startDate": "2020",
      "endDate": "2020"
    },
    "…"
  ]
}
```

Fields come from the structured data LinkedIn publishes on public profile pages. Education and past
organizations are kept apart (LinkedIn lists them together); fields LinkedIn does not show to logged-out
visitors are `null` or empty, never guessed.

### Input

```json
{
  "companyUrls": ["https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/", "duolingo"],
  "includeJobs": true,
  "profileUrls": ["https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates"],
  "listUrl": "https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/…/edit",
  "maxConcurrency": 2,
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

| Option | Notes |
|---|---|
| `companyUrls` | Company page links (also `/showcase/` and `/school/` pages, regional subdomains) or names |
| `includeJobs` | Also return each company's latest open jobs. Off by default; no extra charge |
| `profileUrls` | Public profile links (regional subdomains work) or names |
| `listUrl` | A public `.csv` / `.txt`, or a Google Sheet shared as "Anyone with the link". LinkedIn links are read from any column; other cells are ignored |
| `maxConcurrency` | Pages fetched at the same time, 1–5 (default 2) |
| `maxItems` | Hard ceiling on rows for the run |

Long lists are a normal run: every row carries `inputOrder` so results map back to your sheet; pages
LinkedIn does not serve on the first pass are retried slowly at the end instead of being written off; a
resurrected run skips everything already delivered — never fetched or charged twice.

### Pricing

**$0.004 per company and $0.004 per profile, on every Apify plan** — Free, Bronze, Silver, Gold,
Platinum, Diamond. Check the Pricing tab: all six columns are identical.

| Event | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| `company-scraped` | **$0.004** | One company page read and returned — with its latest job openings if you asked for them. |
| `profile-scraped` | **$0.004** | One public profile read and returned. |

#### What you are not charged for

| | What happens here |
|---|---|
| **Companies that do not exist** | One row with `chargedForThis: false` and the reason. |
| **Profiles that are not public** | LinkedIn does not show them to logged-out visitors; one explanatory row, not billed. |
| **Duplicates** | Two inputs that resolve to the same company or person are delivered and charged once. |
| **The free plan** | Same code path, same fields, same price. No demo mode, no row cap. |

***

### What this Actor cannot do

- **No search.** People search, company search and Sales Navigator need a logged-in account; this Actor
  never logs in. You bring the links.
- **No employee lists, no connections, no followers lists.** Same reason.
- **No emails or phone numbers.** LinkedIn does not publish them on profiles, and this Actor does not
  guess or "enrich" them.
- **No non-public profiles.** Members can hide their profile from logged-out visitors; those come back
  as not found and are not charged.
- **Only what a logged-out visitor sees.** Some profile sections (full experience descriptions, skills,
  recommendations) are shown to signed-in members only and are not returned.

***

### Responsible use

Profiles contain personal data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for collecting and using
it (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), for honoring deletion and objection requests, and for
complying with LinkedIn's terms as they apply to you. Do not use this Actor to build profiles of people for
harassment, discrimination or unsolicited bulk messaging.

***

### How it stays working

Pages are fetched exactly as a logged-out browser would fetch them, and fields are read from the
structured data LinkedIn publishes on public pages. There is no account in the path, so there is nothing
to get restricted. The Actor paces itself, and if LinkedIn starts pushing back on one network exit it
switches to another for a while and retries pages it was not served, slowly, at the end of the run. Every
run's `SUMMARY` records how many pages each exit served, so problems are visible rather than guessed at.

### Integrating

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/nick.cheng~linkedin-company-profile-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<TOKEN>" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"companyUrls":["stripe","duolingo"],"includeJobs":true}'
```

Official clients exist for JavaScript and Python; results export as JSON, CSV or Excel; and the Actor is
available as a tool to AI agents through Apify's MCP server.

# Actor input Schema

## `companyUrls` (type: `array`):

LinkedIn company pages to look up: full links (https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/) or just the name from the link (stripe). Showcase and school pages work too.

## `includeJobs` (type: `boolean`):

For each company, also return its latest open jobs on LinkedIn (up to about 10: title, location, posting date, link) — a hiring signal. Included in the per-company price; one extra request per company.

## `profileUrls` (type: `array`):

Public LinkedIn profiles to look up: full links (https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates) or just the name from the link. Only what LinkedIn shows to logged-out visitors is returned; profiles that are not public come back as not found and are not charged.

## `listUrl` (type: `string`):

Link to a long list: a public .csv or .txt file, or a Google Sheet shared as "Anyone with the link". LinkedIn company and profile links are read from any column; other cells are ignored.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many pages are fetched at the same time (1–5). The Actor paces itself and slows down on its own when LinkedIn pushes back; pages that are not served on the first pass are retried slowly at the end.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard ceiling on rows for the whole run, companies and profiles together. Leave at 0 for no limit.
