## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 job results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper

Collect public jobs from supported **Workday career sites** (`*.myworkdayjobs.com`) in one table: title, description, location, extra locations, country, remote flag, workplace type, employment type, available date information and job link.

The Actor reads public JSON endpoints used by Workday career pages, without a login, browser or proxy. Provider limits, tenant configuration and endpoint availability can affect coverage. Fields absent from the source remain `null`.

### What you can do with it

- **Job boards and aggregators**: keep your listings fresh from hundreds of Workday employers.
- **Recruiters and sourcers**: watch target companies for new roles every day.
- **Market and HR research**: count open roles by company, country, team or contract type.
- **Job seekers**: get a daily list of new remote roles at the companies you care about.

### How to use it

1. Open a company's careers page and copy the address up to the site name, for example
   `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`.
2. Paste one or more addresses into **Workday career site URLs**.
3. Optionally narrow the results:
   - **Search text**: Workday's own search box (fastest on big sites).
   - **Title keywords / Exclude title keywords**: e.g. keep `engineer`, drop `intern`.
   - **Locations**: e.g. `Germany`, `London`, `US`, `Remote`.
   - **Remote jobs only**, **Posted within the last N days** (up to 30).
4. Run. Download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or connect via API, Zapier, Make, n8n.

For a daily review, use **Posted within the last N days = 1** to keep listings labeled today or yesterday by Workday. This is a rolling filter, not persistent new-job detection: overlapping scheduled runs can return and charge the same job again.

### Output example

Illustrative record. `detailStatus` also reports `available` or `unavailable`; unavailable details produce a partial run with the basic listing retained where it matches your filters.

```json
{
  "source": "workday",
  "company": "Salesforce",
  "legalEntity": "100 Salesforce, Inc.",
  "careerSite": "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site",
  "jobId": "JR362334",
  "title": "Senior Technical Support Engineer",
  "location": "California - San Francisco",
  "additionalLocations": [],
  "country": "United States of America",
  "countryCode": "US",
  "remote": true,
  "workplaceType": "Remote Home-Based",
  "employmentType": "Full time",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-27T00:00:00.000Z",
  "postedText": "Posted Today",
  "url": "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site/job/...",
  "description": "Plain-text job description…",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-27T19:38:29.462Z"
}
```

A **Run summary** record lists, for every career site, how many jobs are open and how many were saved, plus any site that failed.

### Pricing

See the Actor's **Pricing** tab for the current result price, any run-start fee and applicable platform charges. The `job-result` event is emitted for unique matching records sent to the dataset, after filters and deduplication. Set a maximum total charge per run in Apify; the Actor stops saving after the SDK reports that limit.

### Run outcomes

`SUMMARY.status` separates `complete`, `no_matching_results`, `partial`, `stopped_cost_limit` and `failed`. A valid empty list is not a source failure. If every requested site is invalid or fails, the run fails. When only some requests fail, inspect `failures` and `detailFailures`; existing results may be partial. `complete` means processing finished within the filters and caps, not that all possible vacancies were collected.

### Good to know

- Workday can cap jobs returned per search. Use **Search text** to narrow large sites upstream. **Locations** is an output filter, so it does not bypass an upstream result cap.
- The date filter uses Workday's English relative label (`postedText`), up to 30 days. Unrecognized or missing labels are excluded while this filter is active and counted in `unknownDatesSkipped`.
- `postedAt` uses the source `startDate` when valid, otherwise an approximate date derived from the relative label. It is not an independently verified first-publication date; use `postedText` to understand the date filter.
- `includeDescription=false` omits description text from the output. Detail requests still supply dates, location and other fields. Missing details are disclosed in `SUMMARY` and `detailStatus`.
- The remote flag comes from source location/workplace labels, not a guarantee about eligible countries. Public descriptions may contain employer contact details.
- Duplicate sites and postings are removed within each run. HTTP requests have a 30-second timeout and bounded retries for transient HTTP errors; persistent source changes can still cause failures.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerSites` (type: `array`):

Open the company's careers page, click a job, and copy the address up to the site name, e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite or https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site. Language prefixes like /en-US/ are fine.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Workday's own search box (searches titles and descriptions). Fastest way to narrow big sites. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains at least one of these words (case-insensitive).

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, director.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location, extra locations or country contain one of these, e.g. London, Germany, US, Remote.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep remote location or workplace labels. This does not verify eligible countries.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 = any date. Uses English Workday relative labels up to 30 days. Unknown labels are excluded and counted in SUMMARY.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds available plain-text descriptions. Detail requests still run when disabled to supply dates and locations.

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

  "includeDescription": true,
  "maxJobsPerSite": 20
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `jobs` (type: `string`):
All matching jobs in one table.
## `summary` (type: `string`):
Jobs saved per career site, open jobs on each site and any sites that failed.
