## Pricing

from $0.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bing Organic Search Results Scraper

Bing still powers a meaningful share of desktop search traffic, and its ranking often diverges from Google's. This actor submits your keywords to Bing and returns the organic result list — title, URL, display URL and snippet — in the order Bing ranked them, for whichever market and language you choose.

### What this actor does

- **Runs a batch of search queries** in one job and tags every result row with the query that produced it
- **Preserves rank order** — each result carries a `position` so you can track movement over time
- **Localizes results** to any Bing market/language code, not just English
- **Paginates automatically** up to your requested result count per query

### Output per result

- `query` — the search query that produced this result
- `position` — 1-based rank of the result within its query
- `title` — result title as shown on the Bing SERP
- `url` — destination URL of the result
- `displayUrl` — the URL text Bing displays under the title, or an empty string if that result card doesn't show one
- `description` — result snippet/description text, or an empty string if that result card doesn't show one
- `searchUrl` — the Bing search URL used to fetch this result page
- `scrapedAt` — ISO 8601 timestamp of when the result was scraped

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `queries` | array | – | List of search queries to look up on Bing. |
| `maxResultsPerQuery` | integer | `10` | Maximum results to return per query (1–100), fetched via automatic pagination. |
| `market` | string | `en-US` | Bing market/language code for localized results (e.g. `fr-FR`, `de-DE`, `ja-JP`). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | `{"useApifyProxy": false}` | Proxy configuration; every run currently connects through an Apify proxy regardless of this setting. |

#### Example: multi-query SEO check

```json
{
    "queries": ["best restaurants NYC", "python web frameworks"],
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 20,
    "market": "en-US"
}
```

#### Example: localized market

```json
{
    "queries": ["meilleurs restaurants Paris"],
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 30,
    "market": "fr-FR"
}
```

#### Example: single query, top results only

```json
{
    "queries": ["apify alternatives"],
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 10
}
```

### Use cases

- **Rank tracking** — monitor where your site lands on Bing for target keywords over time
- **Competitor analysis** — see which domains occupy the top Bing positions for an industry term
- **Content gap research** — pull the top-ranking titles and snippets for a topic to spot content gaps
- **Cross-market comparisons** — run the same keyword across several `market` codes to see how rankings differ by country/language
- **Lead sourcing** — search niche business terms and collect the resulting URLs and snippets in bulk

### FAQ

**Do I need a proxy to run this?**
No manual setup is needed — every run automatically connects through an Apify-managed proxy for reliable access; the `proxyConfiguration` field does not currently change that.

**Which market codes are supported?**
Any Bing market/language code, such as `en-US`, `en-GB`, `fr-FR`, `de-DE`, `es-ES`, `it-IT`, `ja-JP`, `pt-BR`, `zh-CN`, `ko-KR`, `nl-NL`, `ru-RU` or `ar-SA`.

**How many results can one query return?**
Up to 100 per query, fetched across multiple result pages automatically — you don't need to manage pagination yourself.

**Does this include ads, People Also Ask, or other Bing SERP widgets?**
No, this actor returns organic results only — title, URL, display URL and snippet for each ranked position.

**Will results differ if I change the market code for the same query?**
Yes. Bing serves different ranked results, and sometimes different language content, depending on the market/language code you set.

**Is this affiliated with Microsoft or Bing?**
No, this is an independent, third-party actor that queries Bing's public search results. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
