## Pricing

from $0.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Eventbrite Event Finder with Venue Geocoordinates

Browse Eventbrite's public listing pages by city, category, or a direct browse URL and get a flat, structured row for every event — venue address, geocoordinates, cover image, organizer and ticket link included.

### What this actor does

- Reads public Eventbrite "browse" pages (built from a location slug and category slug, or pasted as URLs) and pages through them until `maxItems` is reached or a page comes back with fewer than 10 events
- Resolves each event's venue into a street address, city, region, country, postal code and latitude/longitude
- Collects the event's cover image at every resolution Eventbrite publishes, from the uncropped master down to the display thumbnail
- Splits each event's tags into its Eventbrite category, format (e.g. Concert, Workshop), and organizer-chosen keyword tags
- Returns every field on every record: when Eventbrite doesn't publish a value, the field holds an empty string, `false`, an empty array, or `0` for the coordinates, instead of being left out

### Output per event

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `id` | Eventbrite event ID |
| `name` | Event name |
| `summary` | Short summary, truncated to 1000 characters |
| `url` | Event page URL |
| `ticketsUrl` | Direct checkout URL |
| `startDate` / `startTime` | Event start date (`YYYY-MM-DD`) and time |
| `endDate` / `endTime` | Event end date and time |
| `timezone` | IANA timezone of the event (e.g. `America/New_York`) |
| `isOnline` | `true` if the event is a virtual/online event |
| `isCancelled` | `true` if Eventbrite marks the event cancelled |
| `venueName` | Primary venue name |
| `venueAddress` | Full display address of the venue |
| `venueCity` / `venueRegion` / `venueCountry` / `venuePostalCode` | Venue address components |
| `latitude` / `longitude` | Venue geocoordinates; both are `0` when Eventbrite gives no venue location (for example online events) |
| `imageUrl` | Highest-resolution cover image Eventbrite serves for the event |
| `gallery` | Every image variant Eventbrite exposes for the cover (master, large, medium, small, thumbnail), in descending quality |
| `category` | Eventbrite category, e.g. "Music" or "Business" |
| `format` | Event format, e.g. "Concert" or "Workshop" |
| `tags` | Organizer-assigned keyword tags |
| `primaryOrganizerId` | Organizer's Eventbrite ID |
| `ticketsBy` | Ticket provider name |
| `language` | Listing language code |
| `scrapedAt` | ISO 8601 timestamp of when the run started (the same on every record of a run) |

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `startUrls` | array | – | Eventbrite browse URLs (e.g. `https://www.eventbrite.com/d/ny--new-york/all-events/`). Any filters already in the URL are kept. URLs that aren't on an Eventbrite domain are ignored. When at least one URL is given, `location` and `category` are not used. |
| `location` | string | – | City/region slug used when no `startUrls` are given, e.g. `ny--new-york`, `ca--san-francisco`, `united-states`, `online`. Defaults to `united-states` when left blank. |
| `category` | string | – | Category slug, e.g. `music`, `business`, `food-and-drink`, `sports`. Combined with `location`; without it, all events are browsed. |
| `maxItems` | integer | `50` | Maximum number of events to return across all URLs (1–500). Events listed under several URLs are returned once. |

#### Example: search by city and category

```json
{
  "location": "ny--new-york",
  "category": "music",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

#### Example: browse online events directly

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://www.eventbrite.com/d/online/business/"],
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

#### Example: paste a pre-filtered browse URL

```json
{
  "startUrls": ["https://www.eventbrite.com/d/united-kingdom--london/food-and-drink/"],
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

### Use cases

- **Event marketing research** — track what competitors in your category and city are promoting
- **Venue analytics** — group events by `venueName` and coordinates to see which venues are most active
- **Calendar and city-guide aggregation** — pull current listings into a local events calendar
- **Organizer lead generation** — identify active event organizers in a target region
- **Travel planning** — see what's happening in a destination city on specific dates

### FAQ

**Do I need to log in or provide a proxy?**
No. The actor reads Eventbrite's public browse pages directly; no account, cookies, or proxy configuration is needed.

**How do I target a specific city?**
Use the location slug Eventbrite uses in its own URLs, such as `ny--new-york`, `ca--san-francisco`, `tx--austin`, `united-kingdom`, or `online` for virtual-only events. You can also paste any Eventbrite browse URL straight into `startUrls`.

**Why are some fields empty strings instead of missing?**
Every event record always contains the full set of fields; when Eventbrite doesn't publish a value (for example, no format tag or no venue for an online event), the field is returned as an empty string, `false`, an empty array, or `0` (for `latitude`/`longitude`) rather than being left out. Treat `0, 0` coordinates as "unknown".

**Does this include both free and paid events?**
The actor doesn't filter by price, so it returns whatever the browse page lists. Ticket prices are not part of the output; use `ticketsUrl` to check them.

**How current is the data?**
Browse pages reflect Eventbrite's live listings, so newly published or updated events show up on the next run.

**Is this affiliated with Eventbrite?**
No. This actor independently reads Eventbrite's public pages and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Eventbrite.

**Why might I get fewer events than `maxItems`?**
If a location/category combination has fewer live events than requested, or the browse pages run out before `maxItems` is reached, the actor returns everything it found instead of padding the output.
