## Pricing

from $3.00 / 1,000 hotel offers

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Agoda Hotels Scraper — SEA Hotel Search & Rates

**Agoda hotel search** by **city**, **cityId**, or **search URL**: name, stay price, star rating, review score/count, location, detail URL and image — one Dataset row per hotel.

Part of the **OTA racimo** (pair with `ota-rate-shopper` / Booking search). **HTTP GraphQL** (`citySearch`) — no Playwright. Prefer **RESIDENTIAL** proxy with destination country (TH/JP/US/…).

***

### Input

| Field | Notes |
|-------|--------|
| `city` / `cityId` / `searchUrl` | At least one |
| `checkIn` + `checkOut` or `los` | Stay dates |
| `adults`, `rooms`, `currency`, `maxItems` | Occupancy / caps |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Default RESIDENTIAL; country injected if missing |

### Output

`hotelId`, `name`, `price`, `currency`, `starRating`, `reviewScore`, `reviewCount`, `location`, `detailUrl`, `imageUrl`, `checkIn`, `checkOut`, `scrapedAt`, `error`, `errorMessage`

### Example

```json
{
  "city": "Bangkok",
  "checkIn": "2026-10-22",
  "los": 2,
  "currency": "USD",
  "maxItems": 20,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "TH"
  }
}
```

### Limitations

- Agoda may challenge datacenter IPs (Cloudflare). Use RESIDENTIAL + matching country.
- Prices are search-offer snapshots for the given stay — not a full room matrix.
- Do not invent hotels: empty / blocked runs push an honest `error` row.

# Actor input Schema

## `city` (type: `string`):

Free-text city (e.g. Bangkok, Tokyo, Phuket). Resolved via Agoda autocomplete to a cityId.

## `cityId` (type: `integer`):

Numeric Agoda city id when known (Bangkok=9395, Tokyo=5085). Skips autocomplete.

## `searchUrl` (type: `string`):

Full https://www.agoda.com/search?city=… URL. city / checkIn / los from the query are used when present.

## `checkIn` (type: `string`):

Check-in YYYY-MM-DD. Required unless the search URL already includes checkIn.

## `checkOut` (type: `string`):

Check-out YYYY-MM-DD (must be after checkIn). Alternatively set los.

## `los` (type: `integer`):

Nights if checkOut is omitted (1–30).

## `adults` (type: `integer`):

Number of adults.

## `rooms` (type: `integer`):

Number of rooms.

## `currency` (type: `string`):

ISO currency code (USD, THB, EUR, JPY, …).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum hotel rows to collect (1–200). Paginated ~25 per GraphQL page.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Agoda search HTML can hit Cloudflare without residential IPs. Keep RESIDENTIAL on; the Actor injects apifyProxyCountry from the destination if missing.

## Actor input object example

  "city": "Bangkok",
  "checkIn": "2026-10-22",
  "los": 2,
  "adults": 2,
  "rooms": 1,
  "currency": "USD",
  "maxItems": 40,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ]
  }
}
```
## JavaScript example
```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});

// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "city": "Bangkok",
    "checkIn": "2026-10-22"
};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("noahadler/agoda-hotels").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
