## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Cars Scraper — Used Listings DE AT IT

**AutoScout24** search on **Germany (de), Austria (at) and Italy (it)**.

Keyword / make+model search uses the real listing path (`/lst/bmw/3er`), not a ignored `?query=` parameter. Rows are filtered so **BMW 3** returns BMW 3er / 3 Series (320, 330, …), not Fiat or Ford.

HTTP-only (`curl_cffi` + Chrome TLS). Parses `__NEXT_DATA__` listings.

> **Proxy:** On HTTP 403 enable **Apify RESIDENTIAL** matched to the portal (DE / AT / IT). The Actor injects `apifyProxyCountry` from `portal` when empty.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `listingType` | `active` (default). Optional `sold_check` only re-checks **real** detail URLs/IDs you already have — AutoScout24 has **no sold archive**. |
| `query` | Make + model (e.g. `BMW 3` → `/lst/bmw/3er`) |
| `make` / `model` | Optional brand + model if `query` is empty |
| `portal` | `de` / `at` / `it` (default `de`) |
| `maxItems` | Cap 1–200 (default 40) |
| `proxyConfiguration` | RESIDENTIAL recommended; country injected from portal |

### Output fields

| Field | Notes |
|-------|--------|
| `title`, `make`, `model` | Must match the search (e.g. BMW + 3er family) |
| `price` | EUR |
| `mileageKm`, `year`, `fuel`, `gearbox` | From the ad |
| `detailUrl` | `autoscout24.de` / `.at` / `.it` |
| `dealer`, `sellerType` | Seller |
| `listingStatus` | `ACTIVE` on search rows |

#### Example

```json
{
  "listingId": "32d14c37-272c-45bc-a3c2-07926c3663e0",
  "title": "BMW 320d Touring",
  "make": "BMW",
  "model": "320",
  "price": 18990,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "mileageKm": 98000,
  "year": 2018,
  "listingType": "active",
  "listingStatus": "ACTIVE",
  "detailUrl": "https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/...",
  "portal": "de",
  "query": "BMW 3"
}
```

### Try it

```json
{
  "listingType": "active",
  "query": "BMW 3",
  "portal": "de",
  "maxItems": 10,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "DE"
  }
}
```

### Limitations

- No historical sold timeline or price-when-sold — AutoScout24 does not publish a sold archive. This Actor does **not** invent sold comps or dummy listing IDs.
- Antibot may block bare IPs; soft-fails citing RESIDENTIAL + country.
- Deep pagination capped by `maxItems` (~20 ads/page).

### Keywords

AutoScout24 scraper, AutoScout24 API, Gebrauchtwagen, used cars Germany, BMW 3er, occasioni auto, DACH car listings, dealer leads

# Actor input Schema

## `listingType` (type: `string`):

active = live make/model search (default). sold\_check = optional re-check of URLs you already have (ACTIVE|DELISTED). Not a sold-price archive.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Make + model as on AutoScout24 (e.g. BMW 3, Golf GTI). Mapped to /lst/bmw/3er. Required for active/both unless make is set.

## `make` (type: `string`):

Brand slug (e.g. BMW). Combined with model when query is empty.

## `model` (type: `string`):

Model (e.g. 3er, 320, Golf). BMW series numbers like 3 map to 3er.

## `listingUrls` (type: `array`):

Real AutoScout24 detail URLs only (no dummy IDs). Used when listingType is sold\_check or both.

## `listingIds` (type: `array`):

Real AutoScout24 listing UUIDs from ads you already collected. Do not invent IDs.

## `portal` (type: `string`):

AutoScout24 country site: de (Germany), at (Austria), it (Italy).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum active car listings to collect (1–200). ~20 ads per page.

## `maxSoldChecks` (type: `integer`):

Cap for listingUrls+listingIds (1–100). Defaults to maxItems when omitted.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Recommended: Apify RESIDENTIAL. If apifyProxyCountry is empty, the Actor injects DE/AT/IT from the selected portal. On HTTP 403 the run soft-fails with a clear error row.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "listingType": "active",
  "query": "BMW 3",
  "listingUrls": [],
  "listingIds": [],
  "portal": "de",
  "maxItems": 40,
  "maxSoldChecks": 40,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ]
  }
}
