## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## HelloWork Scraper — Offres d'emploi France

**HelloWork scraper** for France’s job board (`hellowork.com`). Export **offres hellowork** / **hellowork emploi** as one Dataset row per listing: title, company, city, **salaire hellowork** when published, **CDI/CDD**, **télétravail**, offer URL, and **offres fermées** status when you check a public offer page.

HTTP-only (no Playwright): search pages are SSR HTML (`recherche.html?k=&l=&c=&t=&p=`). Cards already carry salaire + contrat. Optional `enrichDetails` opens the offre for JobPosting JSON-LD. **hellowork api**-style export — not a multi-board dump.

> HelloWork returns ~30 offres per search page. Paginate with `?p=N` until `maxItems`. **FR residential proxy is optional** locally; enable it on Apify if you hit 403/captcha.

**Why this Actor:** salaire + CDI/télétravail on the card · **offres fermées** via 410/404 on public `/emplois/{id}.html` · search like a job seeker (query + city + contract) · cheap PPE per Job

***

### Quick start (API)

```bash
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/noahadler~hellowork-france-jobs/runs?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "keyword": "développeur",
    "city": "Paris",
    "contractType": "CDI",
    "maxItems": 20
  }'
```

Then fetch the default Dataset items URL from the run object.

***

### Use cases

- **HelloWork scraper** pipelines for aggregators who already pull InfoJobs / France Travail.
- **Salaire hellowork** / CDI / télétravail research (fields the factory listing often skips).
- **Offres fermées** monitoring from a list of offer URLs (ABSENCE / closed check).
- **hellowork emploi** lead lists: company + offer URL (no email scrape).

***

### Limitations

- Search list is **live offres** — HelloWork does not list expired jobs in `recherche.html`. Closed status is a **public offer-page** check (410/404).
- `salary` is null when HelloWork hides pay.
- Does **not** harvest emails, phones, or CVs.
- 403/captcha → use Apify **RESIDENTIAL** + **FR**. After repeated WAF, the run fails honestly (no fake rows).
- France HelloWork only. Not LinkedIn, not Indeed.

***

### FAQ

**Do I need Playwright?**\
No. v0.1 is HTTP + Chrome TLS impersonation against the public search HTML.

**Can I paste the URL from my browser?**\
Yes. `searchUrls` must be `hellowork.com` emploi pages.

**How do I filter CDI + télétravail?**\
Set `contractType=CDI` and `telework=Complet` (or Partiel). Same as the site checkboxes.

**Why is salary null?**\
Many offres hide pay. The field is filled only when the card (or JobPosting if `enrichDetails`) includes it.

**What is an offre fermée?**\
A public `/emplois/{id}.html` that returns **410/404** (“la page n’existe plus”). Search results are open jobs.

**What happens on hard failure?**\
One Dataset row with `error: true` and an actionable `errorMessage` (often “enable RESIDENTIAL + FR”).

# Actor input Schema

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

What you type in HelloWork search (e.g. développeur, comptable, infirmier). Same as the site k= box.

## `city` (type: `string`):

City or area as on HelloWork (Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Lille…). Same as the site l= box.

## `contractType` (type: `string`):

HelloWork contract filter (c=). Empty = all. CDI / CDD / Stage / Alternance / Freelance / Intérim (Travail\_temp).

## `telework` (type: `string`):

HelloWork télétravail filter (t=). Empty = all.

## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste a HelloWork emploi search (e.g. https://www.hellowork.com/fr-fr/emploi/recherche.html?k=developpeur\&l=Paris\&c=CDI). Other hosts are rejected.

## `offerUrls` (type: `array`):

Public /fr-fr/emplois/{id}.html pages. Open offers return salary + CDI; HTTP 410/404 is marked closed (offre fermée / expirée).

## `enrichDetails` (type: `boolean`):

If true, GET each offre for JSON-LD salary/description/validThrough and closed status. Slower. Search cards already include salaire + CDI when HelloWork shows them.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum job rows (1–500). HelloWork search returns ~30 offres per page.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

HelloWork often works over HTTP. If you see 403/captcha, enable RESIDENTIAL and country FR.
