## Pricing

from $1.40 / 1,000 suppliers

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TradeIndia Scraper — India B2B Supplier Listings

Scrape [TradeIndia](https://www.tradeindia.com/) keyword search for **India B2B supplier / product cards**: company name, product, city, MOQ, TrustStamp flags, and detail URLs.

**Phone and email are not returned.** TradeIndia search masks contact numbers (`number_mask`); this Actor does not unmask or scrape behind login.

### Why this Actor

- **HTTP-only** — parses embedded `__NEXT_DATA__` (`serverData.searchListingData.listing_data`). No Playwright.
- Honest schema for sourcing shortlists (cotton, steel, chemicals, …) with company + city + URLs.
- Soft-fail with a clear message if antibot blocks the page; prefer **RESIDENTIAL + country IN**.

### Input

| Field | Required | Default | Notes |
|-------|----------|---------|--------|
| `query` | yes | — | e.g. `cotton yarn` |
| `maxItems` | no | `20` | 1–100 |
| `proxyConfiguration` | no | RESIDENTIAL + IN | Country `IN` injected if proxy on and country missing |

### Output fields

`productId`, `productName`, `companyId`, `companyName`, `companyUrl`, `detailUrl`, `city`, `state`, `country`, `address`, `moq`, `unit`, `priceRaw`, `businessType`, `category`, `imageUrl`, `trustStamp`, `tiVerified`, `madeInIndia`, `query`, `searchUrl`, `scrapedAt`, `error`, `errorMessage`

### Example

```json
{
  "query": "cotton yarn",
  "maxItems": 20,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "IN"
  }
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: Actor start + one **Supplier** event per dataset row.

### Notes

- List prices are often missing on search cards (`priceRaw` may be null).
- Do not confuse internal `amount` counters with product price (not exported).
- Open `detailUrl` / `companyUrl` in your own workflow if you need contact that TradeIndia shows after unlock.

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

Product or category keyword as on TradeIndia search (e.g. cotton, steel pipes, LED lights).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum supplier/product rows to collect (1–100). First page typically returns ~28 listings.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Recommended: Apify RESIDENTIAL with country IN. Country is injected automatically if missing when proxy is on.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "query": "cotton",
  "maxItems": 20,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "IN"
  }
}
```
