## Pricing

from $10.00 / 1,000 board scanneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Job Change Feed

Track openings and closures on public Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and SmartRecruiters career boards. The Actor calls each provider's public jobs endpoint, compares the current jobs with its previous snapshot, and writes normalized changes to the dataset. No browser, proxy, or AI service is required.

### Input

Enter 1–20 public board identifiers:

```json
{
  "sources": [
    {"provider": "greenhouse", "board": "stripe"},
    {"provider": "lever", "board": "zoox"},
    {"provider": "ashby", "board": "ashby"},
    {"provider": "smartrecruiters", "board": "BoschGroup"}
  ],
  "emitInitial": false,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

Use the board slug from the provider's public careers page, rather than the company's main website address. Reuse the same provider and slug on later runs to detect changes. You can run the Actor manually, via the API, or on an Apify schedule.

### Output

Every scan emits a summary, so the dataset is non-empty even when no jobs changed. The first run saves a baseline and emits one record such as:

```json
{"change":"baseline","provider":"ashby","board":"ashby","activeCount":66,"changesDetected":0}
```

Later runs emit a `scan-summary` record plus `opened` and `closed` records when jobs changed. Change records have a stable job ID, title, location, department, publication date, URL, and description where the provider exposes them. Set `emitInitial` to `true` if you want every current opening emitted on the first run; this can create many results and corresponding per-job charges.

The Actor keeps snapshots in a named Apify key-value store. A source is rejected if its response is incomplete or exceeds 10,000 jobs. If changes exceed `maxItems` for a board, the snapshot for that board remains unchanged so the events can be retried with a higher limit.

### Pricing

The intended pay-per-event prices are **$0.01 per successfully scanned board** and **$0.005 per newly opened job**; closure records have no separate event charge. The Store pricing panel is the source of truth once monetization is enabled. Runs by users on paid Apify plans generate creator revenue according to Apify's terms.

### Data scope

Only public career board data is used. Results depend on the provider's public endpoint and can change if a provider changes its API or removes a posting. A missing posting is reported as closed only after a complete board response, so a partial fetch cannot create false closures.

# Actor input Schema

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Public ATS board identifiers, not company website URLs.

## `emitInitial` (type: `boolean`):

Default off avoids a large first-run charge.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop without updating the snapshot if a board has more changes than this limit.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "sources": [
    {
      "provider": "greenhouse",
      "board": "stripe"
    }
  ],
  "emitInitial": false,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `changes` (type: `string`):

Newly opened and closed jobs in the default dataset. The first run emits a baseline record unless emitInitial is enabled.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "sources": [
        {
            "provider": "greenhouse",
            "board": "stripe"
        }
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("nora_natio/ats-job-change-feed").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
