## Pricing

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 📒 Sección Amarilla Scraper - Mexico Business Leads & Emails

Extract business leads from **Sección Amarilla**, the yellow pages of Mexico. Search any category or business name in any **state, city, neighborhood (colonia) or postal code**, and get each business's phone and WhatsApp in international format, email, website, street address with neighborhood and postal code, GPS position and listing type. Turn on **Business details** to also get the photo, description, opening hours, services, payment methods, every phone and WhatsApp number, and Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and TikTok links. Several searches and places in one run, **1,000 businesses in about 25 seconds**, no cut-off at the site's 7,980 results per search, and it can run on a schedule to send you **only new businesses**.

### 🎯 Who uses it?

#### 📞 Sales teams and lead generation agencies

Build call, WhatsApp and email lists of Mexican businesses by category, city and neighborhood, ready for your CRM.

#### 📣 Marketing agencies

Find businesses without a website or social media in a city, and offer them yours.

#### 🏭 Distributors and suppliers

List every hardware store, pharmacy, restaurant or clinic in a state to plan sales routes and coverage, down to the postal code.

#### 📊 Market researchers

Count and map businesses by category, state, city and postal code, with GPS positions.

### ✨ What it does

- **Search like on the site.** Type categories or business names ("abogados", "dentistas", "taller mecánico"). Several terms in one run.
- **Any place in Mexico.** A state ("Jalisco", "CDMX"), city ("Monterrey"), neighborhood ("Polanco") or postal code ("44100"). Every term is searched in every place. Leave it empty for all of Mexico.
- **No 7,980 cut-off.** The site stops at 399 pages per search. Bigger searches are split by state, and by city when needed, so you get everything.
- **Or paste links.** Results pages or business pages. Filters are ignored with links.
- **Filters:** only close matches, only with email, phone, WhatsApp, website or street address, only advertisers, postal codes, and open on chosen days.
- **Business details add-on:** photo, description, opening hours per day, services, payment methods, all phones and WhatsApp numbers, and social media links.
- **Monitoring:** run it on a schedule with **Only new businesses** and each run saves only businesses you haven't received yet.

### 🏆 Why this scraper

- **Fast.** 1,000 businesses in about 25 seconds. Business details for 300 advertisers in about 40 seconds.
- **Every result.** Searches with more than 7,980 businesses are split by state and city automatically, with duplicates removed.
- **Only real matches.** The site mixes in nearby towns and related categories. **Only close matches** keeps just the businesses that fit your search words and place.
- **Phones ready to dial.** Every phone and WhatsApp number in international format (+52...).
- **Clean addresses.** Street, neighborhood, city, state and postal code in separate fields. The state is taken from the postal code, because the site writes Mexico City as DF, CDMX or MEX. Placeholder places the site uses for free listings are left empty.
- **Clean, typed data.** Map positions as numbers, yes/no fields as true/false, days in English, no HTML leftovers.
- **No proxy needed.** Nothing extra to set up or pay for.

### ⚙️ How the input is organised

| Section | What it's for |
| --- | --- |
| **Maximum results** | Always first, caps the whole run. Empty means no limit. |
| **What to scrape** | Search terms, places and business details (hours, services, social links). |
| **Filters** | Only close matches, only with email, only with phone, only with WhatsApp, only with website, only with street address, only advertisers, postal codes and open on these days. |
| **Monitoring** | Only new businesses and monitor name. |
| **Links** | Links instead of the fields above. Filters are ignored with links. |

### 💰 Pricing

Pay-per-event: a one-time **$0.003** when the run starts, plus a price per business saved to your dataset. The price depends on your Apify plan tier:

| Your Apify plan | Price per business |
| --- | --- |
| Free | $0.013 |
| Bronze | $0.012 |
| Silver | $0.011 |
| Gold / Platinum / Diamond | $0.010 |

Approximate total cost:

| Businesses collected | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold+ |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 100 | $1.30 | $1.20 | $1.10 | $1.00 |
| 1,000 | $13.00 | $12.00 | $11.00 | $10.00 |
| 10,000 | $130.00 | $120.00 | $110.00 | $100.00 |

**Business details add-on:** when **Business details** is on (or the opening-day filter turns it on), each advertiser saved with its details adds one more charge:

| Your Apify plan | Business details, per business |
| --- | --- |
| Free | $0.004 |
| Bronze | $0.0035 |
| Silver | $0.003 |
| Gold / Platinum / Diamond | $0.0025 |

So 1,000 advertisers with details cost $12.50 on Gold ($10 + $2.50). Free listings have no business page, so they pay only the base price, and so do businesses whose details didn't load. Businesses left out by filters are free. No proxy costs. New Apify accounts start with $5 in free credit. On the Free plan a run saves up to 10 businesses.

### 🚀 Run it

1. Create a free Apify account with $5 in credit.
2. Open the Sección Amarilla Scraper.
3. Type search terms and places (or keep the prefilled ones), add filters, then click **Start**.
4. Export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML from the Dataset tab.

### 🤖 Use with AI agents (MCP)

Connect the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client and ask in plain words, for example: *"Find 200 law firms in Monterrey with email on Sección Amarilla"*. The agent runs this Actor and reads the results.

### 🔧 Troubleshooting

- **Few or no results.** Sección Amarilla searches in Spanish: try "abogados" instead of "lawyers", or the plural and singular ("farmacia", "farmacias").
- **A place was skipped.** The log says when the site doesn't know a place. Try the state, the city or a postal code instead.
- **Businesses from nearby towns or other categories.** The site mixes them in. Turn on **Only close matches**.
- **Many empty emails or websites.** Free listings carry only a name, phone and address. Use **Only advertisers**, **Only with email** or **Only with website**.
- **Opening hours are empty.** Only advertisers have a business page, and not all of them publish hours.

### ❓ FAQ

**Is there a limit per search?** The site shows at most 7,980 businesses per search. Bigger searches are split by state and city, so there is no limit in practice.

**Can I search by postal code?** Yes, type it as a place ("44100"), or use the **Postal codes** filter to keep only some codes or code prefixes ("441").

**Do I need a proxy?** No.

### 🛡️ Limits & responsible use

This Actor collects business information that the businesses publish on Sección Amarilla. Use it in line with the site's terms and with Mexico's data protection law (LFPDPPP) and anti-spam rules, especially for email and WhatsApp outreach.
