## Pricing

from $16.00 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 🛒 SoloTodo Chile Price Scraper

Extract product prices from **SoloTodo.cl**, Chile's biggest price comparison site. For every product you get the lowest price in CLP (and USD), the normal card price, the cheapest store, how many stores sell it and which ones, plus **every store's offer** (Falabella, Paris, Ripley, PC Factory, Lider, Hites, Abcdin, Mercado Libre and 300+ more) with cash price, card price, coupon, condition, SKU and link. Each product also comes with its **clean spec sheet** (processor, RAM, screen, storage and so on). Fast, no browser and no proxy.

### 🎯 Who uses it?

#### 🏪 Chilean retailers and e-commerce teams

See what every competing store charges for the products you sell, including coupons and cash vs. card prices.

#### 🏭 Brands and distributors

Check how your products are priced across Chilean stores and spot sellers going under your recommended price.

#### 📈 Market and pricing analysts

Track price levels for a whole category (notebooks, TVs, phones, appliances) and compare specs against price.

#### 🛍️ Deal hunters and affiliate sites

Find the biggest current discounts and publish them with the cheapest store's link.

### ✨ What it does

- **Search** by one or more product names, **pick a category** (69 of them, from Notebooks to Refrigeradores), or **paste links**: product pages, category pages or searches from solotodo.cl.
- **Every store's offer** for each product, cheapest first: the same list the product page shows.
- **Clean specs** for each product: SoloTodo's full spec sheet, without internal IDs and sort keys.
- **Sorting** just like the site: relevance, lowest price, most popular or biggest discount.
- **Whole categories:** pick a category and leave the search empty to get all of it.

### 🏆 Why this scraper

- **The whole comparison in one row.** Each product carries every Chilean store's offer with cash price, card price and coupon, so you see the full price spread at once.
- **Specs included.** Filter notebooks by RAM or TVs by screen size without a second scraper.
- **Fast.** About 1,000 products with every offer and specs in under 20 seconds.
- **Complete.** SoloTodo's own paging repeats some products and skips others when sorting by relevance; this actor picks up the skipped ones, so a whole category really is the whole category.
- **Clean numbers.** Prices are whole CLP numbers, never text like "$1.189.990".

### ⚙️ How the input is organised

| Section | What it's for |
| --- | --- |
| **Maximum products** | Always first, caps the whole run. Empty means no limit. |
| **Search** | Search terms, category, pasted links and sort order. |
| **What to include** | Every store's offer and specs (both on by default). |

### 💰 Pricing

Pay-per-event: a one-time **$0.003** when the run starts, plus a price per product saved to your dataset. The price depends on your Apify plan tier:

| Your Apify plan | Price per product |
| --- | --- |
| Free | $0.022 |
| Bronze | $0.02 |
| Silver | $0.018 |
| Gold / Platinum / Diamond | $0.016 |

Approximate total cost (includes the $0.003 start fee):

| Products collected | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold+ |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 100 | $2.20 | $2.00 | $1.80 | $1.60 |
| 1,000 | $22.00 | $20.00 | $18.00 | $16.00 |
| 10,000 | $220.00 | $200.00 | $180.00 | $160.00 |

One product row carries every store's offer and the spec sheet, so you pay once per product, not once per store. New Apify accounts start with $5 in free credit. On the Free plan a run saves up to 10 products.

**Speed:** about 1,000 products with every offer and specs in under 20 seconds.

### 🚀 Run it

1. Create a free Apify account with $5 in credit.
2. Open the SoloTodo Chile Price Scraper.
3. Type a product (or keep the prefilled one), pick a category, or paste links, set Maximum products, then click **Start**.
4. Export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON, or XML from the Dataset tab.

Run it programmatically through the Apify API (`run-sync-get-dataset-items`) or the ApifyClient for JavaScript and Python, and schedule it with Apify's built-in Scheduler.

### 🤖 Use with AI agents (MCP)

Give an AI agent live access to Chilean prices through the Model Context Protocol:

```
claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=normdata/solotodo-scraper"
```

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

### 🔧 Troubleshooting

**Search finds nothing.**
Search in Spanish, as Chilean shoppers type it ("notebook", "refrigerador", "audífonos"). Brand and model names always work.

**A search returns accessories along with the product.**
That's SoloTodo's own relevance. Pick a category too (e.g. "notebook" in Notebooks) to keep only that kind of product.

**Some rows have `position` empty.**
SoloTodo's paging repeats some products and skips others. The actor collects the skipped ones in a second pass; they have no position because the site never ranked them.

**A pasted link was skipped.**
Only product pages (`/products/...`), category pages (`/notebooks`, `/televisores`...) and searches (`/search?search=...`) are supported.

**A product has `storeCount` 0.**
No Chilean store has it available right now; `price` then shows the last price SoloTodo listed.

### ❓ FAQ

| Question | Answer |
| --- | --- |
| Do I need a SoloTodo account? | No. Only public price data is read. |
| Does it need a proxy? | No. |
| Are prices live? | Yes, read fresh on every run. Each offer has `updatedAt`, when SoloTodo last checked that store. |
| What's the difference between `price` and `normalPrice`? | `price` is the cash/transfer price SoloTodo headlines; `normalPrice` is the price paying by card. |
| Which stores are included? | The Chilean stores the product page lists, available right now, cheapest first. |
| Does it follow the store link? | No. `url` on each offer is the store's own product page. |
| Can I schedule it? | Yes, with Apify's built-in Scheduler. |

### 🛡️ Limits & responsible use

This Actor reads only public price data from SoloTodo. It never signs in, never buys and never visits store pages. Use the data in line with the site's terms and applicable law.

# Actor input Schema

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many products. Leave empty for no limit (the run stops once the search runs out). The Apify Free plan is always capped at 10.

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Products to look up, as Chilean shoppers type them, e.g. "notebook", "iphone 16", "refrigerador". Each term runs its own search and is tagged on every row.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Limits the search terms to one category. With no search terms, scrapes the whole category.

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Product, category or search links from solotodo.cl. A product link returns that product (handy for tracking a fixed list); a category link scrapes the category (with its search, if any).

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the results, same as on the site. Matters when you set a Maximum.

## `includeOffers` (type: `boolean`):

Adds `offers`: each store selling the product with cash price, normal (card) price, coupon, condition, SKU, link and last update, cheapest first, plus `highestPrice`. Cheapest store, store count and store list are always included.

## `includeSpecs` (type: `boolean`):

Adds `specs`: the clean spec sheet (processor, RAM, screen, storage, etc. depending on the category).
