## Pricing

from $12.00 / 1,000 investors

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## 💼 Visible Connect Scraper - Startup Investor Database

Extract startup investors from **Visible Connect**, the free investor database by Visible with **19,000+ VCs, micro VCs, angel groups, accelerators, family offices and corporate funds**. For each investor you get the **name, logo, description, investment thesis, traction it wants, investor types, stages, focus sectors, tags, places it invests in, smallest, typical and largest check, recent fund size and close date, how often it leads rounds, co-invests and takes board seats, city, region, country, website, LinkedIn and X (Twitter)**. Each row also has **its team (name, title, LinkedIn, X, photo)** and **its 50 newest funding rounds (company, website, amount, date, city, country, news article)**. Search with **a keyword and 16 filters**, or paste links, and run it on a schedule to get **only new investors**.

### 🎯 Who uses it?

#### 🚀 Founders raising a round

Build a list of investors that back your stage, sector and check size in your region, with the partners' LinkedIn pages and the deals they did lately.

#### 🤝 Fundraising advisors and startup studios

Make target lists for each client in minutes: filter by stage, focus, tags, check size and country, keep only investors that lead rounds.

#### 📊 VC analysts and researchers

Map who invests in what: stages, sectors, fund sizes and recent rounds for thousands of funds, in one clean table.

#### 🛠️ B2B sales teams selling to VCs

Find funds by type, size and place, with their team, website and LinkedIn, to sell software and services to investors.

### ✨ What it does

- **The whole database.** Every investor on Visible Connect, or only those matching your keyword and filters.
- **16 filters.** Countries, stages, focus, tags, places it invests in, investor types, check size range, recent fund size range, leads rounds, takes board seats, invested since a date, only verified, only with team, only filled profiles.
- **Team and deals included.** Every row has the investor's team and its 50 newest funding rounds, at no extra cost.
- **Or paste links.** Investor pages and searches copied from the site (with their filters). Filters are not used with links.
- **Monitoring:** run it on a schedule with **Only new investors**, and each run saves only the investors you haven't received yet.

### 🏆 Why this scraper

- **The only Visible Connect scraper on the Apify Store** (October 2026).
- **More than a name and a website.** Check sizes, fund size, thesis, traction wanted, how often it leads and takes board seats, team with LinkedIn, and recent deals.
- **Clean, typed data.** Amounts are numbers in US dollars, dates are ISO, yes/no fields are true or false, lists are lists. 36 fields, one row per investor.
- **Fast.** 1,000 investors in about 15 seconds, the whole database in about 4 minutes.
- **Nothing to set up.** No proxy, no login, no account on Visible.

### 💡 Use cases

**Seed investors in the United States that focus on SaaS and write $250,000 to $1,000,000 checks:**

```json
{
  "countries": ["United States"],
  "stages": ["Seed"],
  "focus": ["SaaS"],
  "checkSizeFrom": 250000,
  "checkSizeTo": 1000000
}
```

**Climate investors in Europe that lead rounds and did a deal since 2025:**

```json
{
  "keyword": "climate",
  "geographies": ["Europe"],
  "leadsRounds": ["Always", "Often", "Sometimes"],
  "investedSince": "2025-01-01"
}
```

**Fintech micro VCs and angel groups with their team:**

```json
{
  "tags": ["Fintech"],
  "investorTypes": ["Micro VC", "Angel Group"],
  "withTeamOnly": true
}
```

**Every investor with a filled profile (about 7,400):**

```json
{
  "withProfileOnly": true
}
```

**The whole database (19,000+ investors):**

```json
{}
```

**New Pre-Seed investors every week (schedule this run):**

```json
{
  "stages": ["Pre-Seed"],
  "onlyNew": true,
  "monitorName": "pre-seed-weekly"
}
```

**Links (filters are not used):**

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    { "url": "https://connect.visible.vc/investors/sequoia-capital" },
    { "url": "https://connect.visible.vc/investors?search=climate" }
  ]
}
```

### ⚙️ How the input is organised

| Section | What it's for |
| --- | --- |
| **Maximum results** | Always first, caps the whole run. Empty means no limit. |
| **What to scrape** | Keyword, countries, stages, focus, tags, invests in and investor types. |
| **Filters** | Check size from (USD), check size to (USD), recent fund from (USD), recent fund to (USD), leads rounds, takes board seats, invested since, only verified, only with team and only filled profiles. |
| **Monitoring** | Only new investors and monitor name. |
| **Links** | Links instead of the fields above. Filters are ignored with links. |

### 💰 Pricing

Pay-per-event: a one-time **$0.003** when the run starts, plus a price per investor saved to your dataset. The price depends on your Apify plan tier:

| Plan | Per investor | Per 1,000 investors |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0.018 | $18 |
| Bronze | $0.016 | $16 |
| Silver | $0.014 | $14 |
| Gold | $0.012 | $12 |

The team and recent rounds are included in that price. Investors left out by filters are free. New Apify accounts start with $5 in free credit. On the Free plan, a run saves up to 10 investors.

### 🚀 Run it

1. Create a free Apify account with $5 in credit.
2. Open the Visible Connect Scraper.
3. Pick countries, stages and other filters (or keep them empty for the whole database), then click **Start**.
4. Export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML from the Dataset tab.

### 🤖 Use with AI agents (MCP)

Connect the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, then ask in plain words, for example: *"Find Seed investors in Germany that focus on SaaS on Visible Connect, with their partners' LinkedIn pages"*. The agent runs this Actor and reads the results.

### 🔧 Troubleshooting

- **The log shows more investors than were saved.** The count in the log is the site's. Investor types, takes board seats, invested since, only with team and only filled profiles are checked by the Actor after reading, so fewer investors are kept.
- **Many fields are empty.** About 7,400 investors have a filled profile. The others list only a name, a website and their funding rounds. Use **Only filled profiles** to keep the filled ones.
- **A country filter misses some investors.** Many investors do not say where they are based. Try **Invests in** for the places they invest in.
- **The check size filter keeps an investor outside my range.** It keeps investors whose check range overlaps yours, like on the site: a fund writing $100,000 to $2,000,000 matches $500,000 to $5,000,000.
- **An investor has more rounds than the list.** `roundsCount` counts every round on record. The list keeps the 50 newest, so rows stay readable.

### ❓ FAQ

**How many investors are there?** 19,283 as of October 2026. About 7,400 have a filled profile, 4,200 list their team and 14,600 have funding rounds.

**Which currency are amounts in?** US dollars, like on the site. Check sizes, fund sizes and round amounts are plain numbers.

**Does it get emails?** No. Visible Connect does not publish emails. You get websites, LinkedIn and X pages for the investor and its team.

**Can I pick several values?** Yes. In each filter, investors matching any of the values you pick are kept. Different filters must all match.

**Do I need a proxy?** No.

### 🛡️ Limits & responsible use

This Actor collects investor profiles that Visible publishes for everyone on Visible Connect, and keeps a moderate pace. Team members are listed with the public work details their fund shows.
