## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 profiles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Profile Stats Tracker

Give it a list of TikTok accounts — `@handles` or profile URLs — and get one clean row per account: **exact followers, following, total likes, video count, verified badge, bio and bio link**. **$2 per 1,000 profiles**, no login, no API key.

Run it again — or put it on a daily schedule — and every row also tells you **what changed since the last run**: followers gained or lost, likes added, new videos, and **followers per day**. TikTok only shows you today's totals; this keeps the history for you.

### What you get

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `input`, `handle`, `url`, `name`, `verified`, `userId` | the account (`input` is what you typed; `name` is the display name; `userId` is TikTok's account ID, which stays the same if the handle changes) |
| `followers`, `following`, `likes`, `videos` | the public counts: followers, accounts followed, total likes received, number of public videos |
| `exact` | `true` when all three of followers, likes and videos are TikTok's exact counts; `false` when TikTok only served rounded ones (see Notes) |
| `bio`, `bioLink` | the profile text with **email addresses and phone numbers removed**, and the link in the bio (only when the profile has one) |
| `isPrivate`, `createdAt`, `businessCategory` | `isPrivate` is always `false` here, because private accounts come back as free error rows (see Notes); the creation time TikTok reports; the category of business accounts that set one |
| `isNew`, `firstSeenAt`, `observations` | `true` on the first run for this account; when you first read it and how many times since |
| `previousFollowers`, `followersChange`, `followersPerDay` | followers at your previous run, the difference, and the difference per day (`null` on the first run) |
| `previousLikes`, `likesChange`, `previousVideos`, `newVideos` | the same for total likes and the video count (`newVideos` is the change in the public count, so it is negative if videos were deleted) |
| `changeIsExact`, `hoursSinceLastRun`, `growthNote` | whether both readings behind the change were exact, hours since your previous run, and a one-line explanation |

Every row has `type` (`profile` or `error`) and `observedAt` (UTC).

### Run it again and again

- **On a schedule** — save your input as a task and add a **Schedule**: the same profiles every day. Send each run to Google Sheets, Slack or email with an integration on the task.
- **Watch for changes** — Keep the same input on the schedule. Each run is its own dataset with the date it ran, so the series builds up run by run and you can compare one day with the last.
- **In bulk** — Put every account in **Profiles** in one run.

### Use it for

- **Brand and competitor tracking** — schedule it daily for the accounts in your market and see who is gaining followers fastest
- **Influencer research** — compare accounts by growth per day, not just by the total
- **Your own and client accounts** — a follower log with history you own, exportable to Sheets or your BI tool

### Input

```json
{ "profiles": ["@nasa", "@nike", "https://www.tiktok.com/@espn"], "maxRequestsPerMinute": 20 }
```

Growth is remembered per account in a named key-value store (`tiktok-profile-stats`) in your Apify account, so the second run of the same Actor already shows changes. Schedule it (Apify → Schedules) for a daily history.

### Pricing

**$2 per 1,000 profiles**, plus $0.01 per run. Error rows (accounts that do not exist, are private, or that TikTok did not serve) are free. The $0.01 run-start fee is the one charge every run pays, even one that returns nothing.

### Notes

- Public data only: what anyone sees on a profile page without signing in. Videos and comments are not read, because TikTok does not serve them without a login.
- **Exact or rounded.** TikTok's profile page carries two sets of counts: a rounded one (for `@nasa` on 8 Oct: 2,000,000 followers) and an exact one (2,001,296 in the same response). The Actor outputs the exact one, which moves from one minute to the next. If a page only has the rounded set, you get that with `exact: false`. The older rounded set can also be wrong for very large accounts (for `@espn` on 8 Oct its `heartCount` said 2.1 billion likes against 6.4 billion in the exact set, and for `@khaby.lame` it was a negative number), which is another reason the exact set is used.
- `followersPerDay` is only filled when at least 20 hours have passed since your previous run of that account; a few hours stretched to a day is mostly noise. Shorter gaps still give `followersChange`, `likesChange` and `newVideos`.
- `bioLink` is empty for profiles without a link, and `businessCategory` is empty unless a business account has set a category. `createdAt` is the creation time as TikTok reports it in the page data; it is not checked against the first video.
- **Private accounts give a free error row** (`reason: private`), not a profile row. TikTok still shows a private account's followers, but it hides its videos, so the video count would read 0 and `newVideos` would be wrong. If an account you track turns private, you get the free row until it opens again, and your earlier history is kept.
- There is no country field: the profile data TikTok serves does not contain one.
- Error rows carry a `reason`: `not-found` (no such handle), `private`, `unavailable` (TikTok answers with a status code and no profile, for example 10223, and does not say whether the account is removed, banned or restricted; the code is in the message), `blocked` (TikTok served a page without the profile data), `rate-limited`, `network`, `bad-input` or `skipped`. Rate limiting and connection failures are retried twice before they count. If TikTok refuses five accounts in a row, the rest of the list is not requested and comes back as free `skipped` rows; the run then ends as failed only when no profile could be read at all.
- Speed is set by *Requests per minute* (default 20, about three seconds between profiles; a run of six handles took about 16 seconds on 8 Oct). Lower it if TikTok starts refusing requests.
- Short `vm.tiktok.com` links are not supported — use `@handle` or the `tiktok.com/@handle` URL.

To track **YouTube channels** the same way, see [YouTube Channel Stats & Growth Tracker](https://apify.com/northbell/youtube-channel-growth-tracker). For **Twitch streamers**, see [Twitch Stats Tracker](https://apify.com/northbell/twitch-stats-tracker).

### For AI agents

`{"profiles": ["@nasa"]}` returns one row with `followers`, `likes`, `videos` and, from the second run on, `followersChange` and `followersPerDay`. Rows have `type`: `profile` or `error`; error rows have `reason` and `message`.

# Actor input Schema

## `profiles` (type: `array`):

One TikTok account per line: @handle or a profile URL (tiktok.com/@name). Public profiles only. Short vm.tiktok.com links are not supported.

## `maxRequestsPerMinute` (type: `integer`):

One request per profile. Kept polite by default: 20 per minute means about three seconds between profiles. Lower it if TikTok starts refusing requests.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "profiles": [
    "@nasa",
    "@nike"
  ],
  "maxRequestsPerMinute": 20
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `profiles` (type: `string`):

Followers, likes and video count with growth since the last run.
