## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Foundit Jobs Scraper

***

Scrape job listings from **foundit** (formerly Monster India / Monster APAC) — foundit.in, foundit.sg, foundit.my and foundit.com.ph. Provide any search URL with your filters applied and get every result as structured data; turn on `detailedInfo` for the full job description, job type, closing date and the complete skills list.

#### **📋 Example Output**

```json
{
  "id": "69517597",
  "url": "https://www.foundit.in/job/senior-data-analyst-hm-bengaluru-bangalore-india-69517597",
  "title": "Senior Data Analyst",
  "company": "H&M",
  "location": "Bengaluru, India",
  "experience": "6-10 Years",
  "salary": null,
  "skills": ["R", "Cloud-based analytics platforms", "Power Bi", "Tableau", "Data Modeling", "Data Warehousing", "Python", "Sql", "Statistical Modelling"],
  "postedAt": "2026-10-21T17:52:47.000Z",
  "updatedAt": "2026-10-21T17:52:47.000Z",
  "closesAt": "2026-12-04T18:30:00.000Z",
  "employmentType": "Full time",
  "jobType": "Permanent Job",
  "industry": "Other",
  "jobFunction": "Data Analytics",
  "employerType": "Company",
  "applicants": 42,
  "descriptionText": "WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH What is Production It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and p…",
  "applyUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4480325171/",
  "companyLogoUrl": "https://media.monsterindia.com/logos/xSP_HMinx/jdlogo.gif",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T20:10:02.947Z"
}
```

Without `detailedInfo`, `descriptionText` is `null` and `jobType` is only filled for the few listings that carry it in search results; every other field comes from the search results. `salary` is `null` when the employer hides it (most listings; when shown it reads e.g. `6,00,000-12,00,000 INR`). `experience` is `null` when not stated (about a third of listings). `applyUrl` is the employer's own page when the job redirects off-site, otherwise the foundit job page.

#### ⚙️ **Configuration**

| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
|-----------|------|---------|-------------|
| `url` | String | *(required)* | foundit search URL, e.g. `https://www.foundit.in/search/data-analyst-jobs-in-bangalore` or `https://www.foundit.sg/srp/results?query=accountant&locations=Singapore`. A single job URL (`…/job/{slug}-{id}`) returns that one job with details. |
| `maxItems` | Integer | `0` | Maximum number of jobs to return (0 = all results of the search, 100 per page). Starts from `?start=` if the URL has one. |
| `detailedInfo` | Boolean | `false` | Fetch each job's detail record for the full description, job type, closing date and canonical skills (one extra request per job). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Object | Apify Proxy (auto) | Proxy settings. Switch to RESIDENTIAL only if results are empty. On an Akamai 403 the Actor retries with new sessions and falls back to RESIDENTIAL automatically. |

##### Example Input

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.foundit.in/search/python-developer-jobs-in-hyderabad?experienceRanges=2~5",
  "maxItems": 200,
  "detailedInfo": true
}
```

##### Supported sites and URLs

| Site | Host |
|------|------|
| foundit India | `www.foundit.in` |
| foundit Singapore | `www.foundit.sg` |
| foundit Malaysia | `www.foundit.my` |
| foundit Philippines | `www.foundit.com.ph` |

Keywords and location are read from SEO paths (`/search/{keywords}-jobs-in-{location}`, `/search/{keywords}-jobs`, `/search/jobs-in-{location}`) and from query parameters (`?query=…&locations=…`). Every filter the site adds to the URL is forwarded as-is, e.g. `experienceRanges`, `salaryRanges`, `jobFreshness`, `industries`, `functions`, `roles`, `jobTypes`, `employerTypes`, `qualifications`, `companies`, `sort`. Company pages (`/search/{company}-{id}-jobs-career`) cannot be mapped — search by keyword instead.

##### Getting your search URL

1. Open foundit for your country and search with your keywords, location and filters
2. Copy the full URL from your browser address bar
3. Paste it as the `url` input

#### **Is it legal to scrape foundit data?**

It is legal to scrape publicly available job data such as titles, companies, locations and descriptions. Results may contain personal data (e.g. recruiter names or phone numbers inside descriptions); scrape personal data only with a legitimate reason. Consult your legal advisor if unsure.

# Actor input Schema

## `url` (type: `string`):

A foundit search results URL with your filters applied, e.g. https://www.foundit.in/search/data-analyst-jobs-in-bangalore or https://www.foundit.sg/srp/results?query=accountant\&locations=Singapore. Supported sites: foundit.in, foundit.sg, foundit.my, foundit.com.ph. A single job URL (…/job/{slug}-{id}) returns that job with details.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of jobs to return (0 = all results of the search, fetched 100 per page). Starts from the ?start= offset in the URL if present.

## `detailedInfo` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each job's detail record for the full description, job type, closing date and canonical skills (one extra request per job).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. Defaults to Apify Proxy (auto). foundit's Akamai front blocks some datacenter IPs: on a 403 the Actor retries with new proxy sessions and, if they keep failing, falls back to RESIDENTIAL automatically for that run.

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.foundit.in/search/data-analyst-jobs-in-bangalore",
  "maxItems": 50,
