## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### JazzHR Jobs Scraper

***

Scrape **all open positions** from any JazzHR-hosted career page. Provide any URL on the company's `{company}.applytojob.com` site — the Actor reads the public job list and returns every opening as structured data. Turn on `detailedInfo` to add the full description, employment type, experience level, posting date and expiry from each job page.

***

#### **📋 Example Output**

```json
{
  "id": "GdOFPcrXi5",
  "url": "https://ticketmanager.applytojob.com/apply/GdOFPcrXi5/Assistant-People-And-Office-Operations",
  "title": "Assistant, People and Office Operations",
  "company": "TicketManager",
  "location": "Mesa, AZ",
  "department": "People Operations",
  "employmentType": "Full Time",
  "experience": "Entry Level",
  "postedAt": "2026-08-11",
  "validThrough": "2026-11-09",
  "descriptionText": "Live events are fun. Concerts, sporting events, and festivals create memorable lifelong experiences with clients, prospects, partners, friends, and family—and they drive real business impact. Companie…",
  "applyUrl": "https://ticketmanager.applytojob.com/apply/GdOFPcrXi5/Assistant-People-And-Office-Operations",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-13T18:01:31.988Z"
}
```

Without `detailedInfo`, the fields `employmentType`, `experience`, `postedAt`, `validThrough` and `descriptionText` are `null` (the public job list only shows title, location and department).

#### ⚙️ **Configuration**

| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
|-----------|------|---------|-------------|
| `url` | String | *(required)* | Any page of a JazzHR career site, e.g. `https://ticketmanager.applytojob.com/apply`. The company subdomain alone also works. |
| `maxItems` | Integer | `0` | Max jobs to return (0 = all). |
| `detailedInfo` | Boolean | `false` | Visit each job page for the full description, employment type, experience level, posting date and expiry (one extra request per job). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Object | Apify Proxy (auto) | Proxy settings. Switch to RESIDENTIAL only if results are empty. |

##### Example Input

```json
{
  "url": "https://ticketmanager.applytojob.com/apply",
  "maxItems": 0,
  "detailedInfo": true
}
```

##### Getting your career page URL

1. Open the company career page hosted on JazzHR (URL pattern: `{company}.applytojob.com/apply`)
2. Copy the full URL from your browser — any page of the site works, including a single job page
3. Paste it as the `url` input

#### **Is it legal to scrape JazzHR data?**

It is legal to scrape publicly available job data such as titles, locations, and descriptions. Results may include personal data (e.g. hiring-manager names inside descriptions); scrape personal data only with a legitimate reason. Consult your legal advisor if unsure.
