## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Shopping Price Monitor: EU Prices & Sellers

Track the prices of any product on **Google Shopping** in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and 12 more countries. Enter product names, model numbers or **EAN/GTIN codes** and get every offer: **price, old price and discount, seller, condition (new/refurbished), rating, delivery and returns**, plus the sponsored offers with shipping cost. Schedule it in **monitor mode** and receive only **price drops, increases and new sellers**.

### What can you use it for?

- **Brands and manufacturers**: check how retailers price your products (MAP / minimum advertised price monitoring).
- **Webshops**: see where competitors are cheaper, every morning.
- **Price comparison and deal sites**: feed the lowest price per product into your site.
- **Market research**: price ranges, number of sellers and refurbished share per category.

### How to use it

1. Enter **products**, one per line: `airpods pro 2`, `dyson v15 detect`, or an EAN like `0194253397168`.
2. Choose the **country** (and nl/fr for Belgium).
3. Filter out accessories with **Title must contain** or a **Minimum price**.
4. For daily tracking choose **Monitor** and a **Monitor name**, then add a schedule.

### Output example

```json
{
  "query": "airpods pro 2",
  "country": "be",
  "rank": 1,
  "title": "AirPods Pro Apple",
  "price": 242.0,
  "oldPrice": null,
  "discountPercent": null,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "seller": "bol.com",
  "moreSellers": true,
  "condition": "new",
  "deliveryAndReturns": ["Retourneren binnen 30 dagen"],
  "rating": 4.4,
  "reviewCount": 11000,
  "sponsored": false,
  "googleProductId": "9233812052860419425"
}
```

Sponsored offers also have `sellerDomain`, `shipping` and `shippingCost`. In monitor mode each row has `changeType` (`NEW`, `PRICE_DOWN`, `PRICE_UP`), `previousPrice` and `priceChangePercent`.

**Price summary per search** (Output tab): reference price (typical price of the top results), lowest price with seller and condition, lowest **new** price, median, highest and number of sellers. Offers below half the reference price are flagged `likelyAccessory` and left out of the summary, so a €3 case doesn't count as the cheapest AirPods.

### Pricing

**$0.003 per offer** ($3 per 1,000). Failed searches and offers filtered out are free. In monitor mode you only pay for new offers and price changes.

**Example:** 50 products, ~10 relevant offers each, checked daily in monitor mode with ~15% changing = ~75 rows/day ≈ **$0.23 per day**.

### Good to know

- One search shows up to about **40 product cards** plus a few sponsored offers. The card shows the price of one seller; `moreSellers = true` means other shops sell it too.
- Product names return accessories as well — they are flagged `likelyAccessory`; use **Exclude likely accessories**, **Title must contain**, **Minimum price** or the EAN.
- Uses Apify's Google SERP proxy; Google results can differ slightly per moment and location.
- Public Google Shopping results only: no login, no cookies, no personal data.
- Free Apify plan: 5 searches per run.

### FAQ

**Can I search by EAN?** Yes, enter the EAN/GTIN as the product; Google matches it when the product is in its catalog.

**Which countries?** BE, NL, FR, DE, AT, CH, LU, IT, ES, PT, IE, UK, US, PL, SE, DK.

**Does it show all sellers of a product?** It shows the seller on each card plus sponsored offers. Per-product seller lists are not included in this version.

### Support

Open an issue on the *Issues* tab with the run ID.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Product names, model numbers or EAN/GTIN codes, one per line. One Google Shopping search per line.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Google Shopping country: prices, sellers and currency follow this country.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Optional. For Belgium choose nl or fr; empty = the country's default language.

## `condition` (type: `string`):

Keep all offers, only new products, or only refurbished/used.

## `titleMustContain` (type: `array`):

Optional words that must all appear in the product title, e.g. 'pro' and '2'. Filters out accessories and other models.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Skip offers below this price (filters out cases and accessories). 0 = no limit.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Skip offers above this price. 0 = no limit.

## `excludeAccessories` (type: `boolean`):

Skip offers priced below half the typical price of the top results (cases, filters, cables, single earbuds). Off: they are kept with likelyAccessory = true and left out of the price summary.

## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Google shows up to about 40 product cards per search.

## `includeSponsored` (type: `boolean`):

Also return the sponsored (ad) offers with seller domain and shipping cost.

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Snapshot returns every offer. Monitor remembers prices between runs and returns only new offers and price changes — ideal for a daily schedule.

## `stateName` (type: `string`):

Monitor mode only. Runs with the same name share their price memory.

## `priceChangePercent` (type: `integer`):

Monitor mode only. Ignore changes smaller than this percentage.
