## Pricing

from $2.75 / 1,000 company verifieds

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## France Company Registry Scraper — Sirene, Verified

> **You paste a French company name or SIREN number. You get the real**
> **registry record** — legal name, status, legal form, and address — with
> the source behind every field.

### ✅ Live-verified 2026-09-10 — chained source replaced

The originally planned source (`dltik/pappers-sirene-scraper`) was **proved
misleading**: three tests with three different input shapes all returned
the same 101 unrelated companies, meaning it ignores its input and serves a
fixed demo dataset. One of those tests cost $0.20 — billed as a broad
search despite a name suggesting a targeted lookup. It was dropped.

The real source is `logiover/france-company-registry-scraper` (input field
`query`, a string), verified end to end on Danone (SIREN 552032534, matching
the public registry). Confirmed fields: `siren`, `name`, `legalName`,
`nafCode`, `legalFormCode`, `companyCategory`, `status` (`"A"` = active),
`address`/`zip`/`city`, `directors` (**a single `"; "`-separated string** in
`"NAME (role)"` form, not an array — parsed by `_parse_directors()`),
`directorCount`, and `url` (the official data.gouv.fr record, no anti-bot).

An exact-match guard is mandatory here: searching "Danone" also returned
unrelated people named Danon/Danone, so the first result is never trusted
without verification — same pattern as Actors 4 and 10.

**Still pending:** the 200-run reliability recipe required by
`NORME_VIGIA.md` §5 / addendum A1.

### 5 advantages

1. **One bad name never kills your batch.**
2. **Never billed on a failed lookup.**
3. **Exact-match discipline** on name search — never "the first result."
4. **Honest about scope.** Officer records and filing history are not
   included until confirmed available.
5. **Hard cost cap you control.** Set `maxTotalChargeUsd`.

### Output

```json
{
  "company_number": "552032534",
  "legal_name": "Danone",
  "company_status": "active",
  "legal_form": "Société anonyme",
  "registered_address": {"city": "Paris", "country": "France"},
  "officers": [],
  "filings": [],
  "status": "ok"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event, base FREE-tier prices: **$0.005** per company verified and delivered.
Paid Store plans pay less on every event — the largest plans reach $0.00275 on the cheapest event; the Pricing tab on this Actor's Store page is
always the authority. **No event is ever charged on an item that returns an `error`** —
a batch of 200 with one bad input bills 199.

One tool, `france_company_registry`, same arguments as the Start form.
