## Pricing

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What can I get

- 🔍 **Search SoundCloud** — tracks, artists, playlists or albums by keyword, filtered by genre or tag, duration, upload date, license or city; up to 300 results per query
- 🎵 **Full track records** — plays, likes, reposts, comments and downloads, genre, tags, duration, release date, ISRC, UPC, label and rights lines, artwork, waveform and the artist
- 🎤 **Artists, playlists & albums** — followers, uploads, likes, city, verified and Pro badges, banner; playlists and albums with track count, duration, likes and the creator
- 🔗 **From any link** — paste soundcloud.com track, artist, playlist, album or station links (or on.soundcloud.com share links) and get the full record back
- 📈 **Official charts** — the weekly Top 50 for the US and the UK (overall, New & Hot and per genre), the daily trending chart with trending scores, and 20 trending-by-genre playlists
- ➕ **Full details add-on** — every artist's website and social links (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify…), every playlist's and album's whole tracklist

### Why SoundCloud Scraper

Most other SoundCloud scrapers fail you in one of four ways:

- 🧩 **Low-detail data** — a title and a play count, never the ISRC, the label or the rights
- 🪓 **One thing only** — a search *or* a link *or* a chart, so you chain three actors for one job
- 💸 **Pay more to get the same data** — start fees, tiers and paid "extra data" events
- 🪦 **Works today, breaks next month** — nobody maintains it

SoundCloud Scraper does search, links and charts in one run, is priced honestly, and actively maintained.

*Trimmed for readability — the real row carries all 18 tags, the full publisher block and every flag.*

A search row carries `search_query` and `search_type` in front of the result fields; a chart row carries `chart_type` (`top_50`, `trending` or `trending_by_genre`), the chart it came from and the track's `rank`.

### Pricing

High value, Low price.

| What | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| **Results** | **$1 per 1,000** | A search result, a chart entry or a record from a link — tracks with plays, likes, reposts, comments, ISRC, label, artwork and the artist; artists with followers, uploads, city and badges; playlists and albums with track count, duration and creator |
| **Full details** (optional add-on) | **+$1 per 1,000** | On artist, playlist and album rows only, when **Include Details** is on: the artist's website and social links, or the playlist's / album's whole tracklist with every track in full |

No start fee, one flat price on every plan — you pay only for the rows you get. Control your spend with **Max Results per Query** and **Chart Size**: 1,000 results ≈ $1. One query at the default 100 results costs about $0.10; a link costs $0.001; a Top 50 chart costs $0.05.

💡 Apify's free plan includes $5 of credit every month — about **5,000 free results, every month**.

### FAQ

#### What can I search for?

Tracks, artists (users), playlists or albums — pick the **Search Type**, list your **Queries** one per line, and every query is searched separately, up to **Max Results per Query**. Narrow track searches by **Genre or Tag**, **Duration**, **Uploaded Within** and **License**; narrow artist searches by **City**. SoundCloud serves the first 300 results of any search, so that is the ceiling per query — use filters to reach deeper.

#### How do I get the full record of a track, artist or playlist?

Paste it under **URLs** — a soundcloud.com link (`https://soundcloud.com/billieeilish/ocean-eyes`), an on.soundcloud.com share link, a permalink path (`billieeilish/ocean-eyes`) or an id as `track:<id>`, `user:<id>` or `playlist:<id>`. A bare number is not accepted because a track, an artist and a playlist can share the same id. Rows carry `source` and `record_type`.

#### What does Include Details add?

On artist rows: every website and social link on the profile (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Twitter, Facebook, merch store…). On playlist and album rows: the whole tracklist, every track in full with plays, likes and ISRC. It is billed as the `details` add-on on those rows only — track rows are already complete and never charged for it.

#### How do the charts work?

List the **Top 50 Charts** you want (`all-music-genres`, `new-hot`, `hip-hop`, `pop`…) and pick the **Top 50 Country** (US or UK). Tick **Trending Chart** for SoundCloud's daily trending chart with trending scores, and list genres under **Trending by Genre** (`hip-hop`, `trap`, `pop`, `electronic`, `r-n-b`…). **Chart Size** sets the entries per chart (1–100). Chart rows keep every entry, so the same song in two charts is two rows.

#### Can I combine searches, links and charts in one run?

Yes — fill in any of the sections and everything runs in one job. A record that comes back twice (the same track from two searches, or from a link and then a search) is pushed and billed once.

#### What does it cost?

$0.001 per result — $1 per 1,000, flat on every plan, with no start fee. The optional full-details add-on is another $0.001 per artist, playlist or album row it enriches. Apify's free plan gives you $5 of credit every month, which is 5,000 results free every month.

#### Is it legal to scrape SoundCloud?

The Actor collects publicly available track, profile, playlist and chart data — the same data soundcloud.com shows any visitor. Please review SoundCloud's terms of use and make sure your use complies with the law of your jurisdiction.

#### Can I get followers, likers or comments?

Not with this Actor — use [SoundCloud Followers Scraper](https://apify.com/omkar-cloud/soundcloud-followers-scraper) for followers, followings, likers and reposters, and [SoundCloud Comments Scraper](https://apify.com/omkar-cloud/soundcloud-comments-scraper) for timed comments.
