## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bundesanzeiger Scraper: German Company Filings and Notices

**$1 per 1,000 publications. Platform usage included. No rental, no minimum.**

Search the Bundesanzeiger, Germany's Federal Gazette, by company name or keyword and get one clean row per publication: who published it, where they are based, the area of the gazette, the title, the reporting period of annual accounts, ISINs and the publication date. No login and no account.

[Open it in Apify Console](https://console.apify.com/actors/2hIyt22pguPJgqTAm/input)

### What it costs

| Publications | This actor |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | $1.00 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 |
| 100,000 | $100.00 |

One flat price, platform usage included, so there is no separate compute or proxy bill. Plus $0.001 per run. A daily run of 100 publications costs about $0.10, or about $3 a month. Searches with no results cost only the run fee.

### Why use it

- **Every area of the gazette.** Filter by any of 69 areas, from GmbH announcements and annual accounts to voting rights, net short positions and court notices, and by publication date.
- **Fields you can sort on.** The reporting period of annual accounts, ISINs, court case numbers and the company a notice is about come out as their own fields, not as one block of text.
- **No login, no browser.** The actor uses the public search on bundesanzeiger.de the way a visitor does. In our test runs, 50 publications took 29 to 46 seconds.
- **You pay for rows only.** Identical rows are merged before you are charged, and the run stops at your spending limit.

### Quick start

1. Open the actor, type a company name or keyword, press **Start**.
2. Or paste this input:

```json
{ "searchTerms": ["Siemens Aktiengesellschaft", "Bäckerei"], "maxResultsPerSearch": 25, "maxItems": 50 }
```

3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

Each search term runs as its own search, newest publications first. A full legal name (Siemens Aktiengesellschaft) gives tighter results than a single word.

### Use it from code

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/one_dollar_store~bundesanzeiger-filings-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"searchTerms": ["Siemens Aktiengesellschaft"], "maxItems": 20}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("one_dollar_store/bundesanzeiger-filings-scraper").call(
    run_input={"searchTerms": ["Siemens Aktiengesellschaft"], "publishedFrom": "2026-01-01", "maxItems": 50}
)
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["publicationDate"], item["publisherName"], item["title"])
```

### Use it from an AI assistant

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can call this actor through Apify's MCP server. Add it with this server address:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=one_dollar_store/bundesanzeiger-filings-scraper
```

Then ask, for example: "List the notices Siemens Aktiengesellschaft has published in the Bundesanzeiger since 1 January 2026."

### Switching from another Bundesanzeiger actor

Most Bundesanzeiger actors take a company name and a result limit. Here they are `searchTerms` (a list, so one run can cover many companies), `maxResultsPerSearch` and `maxItems`. The core fields are `publisherName`, `area`, `title` and `publicationDate`.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `searchTerms` | list of text | required | Company names or keywords. |
| `area` | choice | All areas | Limit to one area, for example annual financial statements, company announcements for GmbH, voting rights notifications or court notices. |
| `publishedFrom` | text | empty | Only publications on or after this date (`2026-01-31` or `31.01.2026`). |
| `publishedTo` | text | empty | Only publications on or before this date. |
| `maxResultsPerSearch` | number | 200 | Most rows per search term. |
| `maxItems` | number | 1000 | Most rows in the whole run (minimum 10). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | proxy | Apify datacenter | The default works well; each search keeps one address so the site's session stays valid. Its cost is included in the price. |

### Output fields

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `searchTerm` | The search that found the row. |
| `publisherName`, `publisherLocation` | The company, fund manager or court that published the notice, and its city. |
| `area` | Gazette area as the site names it, for example `Gesellschaftsbekanntmachungen`, `Rechnungslegung/Finanzberichte`, `Kapitalmarkt`, `Gerichtlicher Teil`. |
| `title` | Title of the publication, for example `Liquidation`, `Einberufung der ordentlichen Hauptversammlung 2026` or `Jahresabschluss zum Geschäftsjahr vom 01.01.2024 bis zum 31.12.2024`. |
| `periodFrom`, `periodTo` | Reporting period, read from the title of annual accounts. |
| `details` | Extra lines under the title: the company a notice is about, fund names, or correction notes. |
| `isins` | ISINs listed with the publication. |
| `courtCaseNumber` | Case number of court notices. |
| `publicationDate` | Publication date (YYYY-MM-DD). |
| `areaFilter`, `scrapedAt` | The area you chose (when not all areas) and when the row was read. |

Empty fields are left out of a row.

]
```
### Limits
- **List rows, not full texts.** The actor returns what the result list shows and does not open the publication texts.
- **No permanent links.** The site's links to single publications only work inside one browser session, so rows carry no URL. Search the publisher name and date on bundesanzeiger.de to open one.
- **Current insolvency notices are elsewhere.** German courts publish today's insolvency notices on insolvenzbekanntmachungen.de. The Bundesanzeiger court area holds older bankruptcy (Konkurs) and Gesamtvollstreckung proceedings plus other court notices. For companies, liquidation notices (`Liquidation`) and capital cuts appear under company announcements.
- **How the site searches.** For annual accounts the site matches the company name only; other notices are also matched on their text. Results come newest first, as the site sorts them.
- **Identical list rows are merged.** If the site lists two rows that match in every field, you get one.
### FAQ
**How much does it cost to scrape 10,000 Bundesanzeiger publications?**
$10, plus $0.001 for each run.
**Do I pay for compute or proxy on top?**
No. Platform usage is included in the $1 per 1,000 price.
**What is the Bundesanzeiger?**
Germany's official gazette, run on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Justice. Companies must publish many notices there, such as annual accounts, shareholder meeting invitations, dividends, capital changes and liquidations.
**Who uses it?**
Credit, KYB and compliance teams checking German companies for liquidations, capital cuts, mergers and late annual accounts. Investors following shareholder meetings, dividends, voting rights and net short positions. Sales and research teams listing German companies that filed a given kind of notice.
**Can I monitor a company for new notices?**
Yes. Schedule the actor with the company name and `publishedFrom` set to a recent date, and you get only new publications.
**How many results can one search return?**
As many as the site lists. A broad word like a city name can match tens of thousands, so set `maxResultsPerSearch` to what you need.
**Is it legal?**
The actor reads only public pages that anyone can open without logging in, and it skips the parts of the site that robots.txt asks crawlers to avoid. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the site's terms and the laws that apply to you, including GDPR when notices name people.
**Is this an official Bundesanzeiger product?**
No. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Bundesanzeiger or the German government.
**Do I need an Apify account?**
Yes. Actors run from an Apify account, and a free account is enough to start: it includes $5 of platform usage every month. You can [sign up here](https://www.apify.com?fpr=ymnoit). This is a referral link and it costs you nothing.
**Is there a limit on the free plan?**
Yes. A run started from a free plan account delivers the first 10 results, then ends with a message and a link to the plans. Any paid plan returns everything you ask for, up to your own limit. The price per result is the same on every plan.
### Changelog
- October 2026: first release.
# Actor input Schema
## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):
Each entry runs as its own search on bundesanzeiger.de, for example a company name (Siemens Aktiengesellschaft) or a word. A full legal name gives tighter results than a single word. The site searches company names in every area and the full text of notices outside the accounts area.
## `area` (type: `string`):
Limit the search to one area of the gazette, for example annual financial statements or insolvency proceedings. Leave on All areas for everything.
## `publishedFrom` (type: `string`):
Optional. Only publications on or after this date (2026-01-31 or 31.01.2026).
## `publishedTo` (type: `string`):
Optional. Only publications on or before this date.
## `maxResultsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):
The most rows to take from each search, newest first.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
The run stops after this many rows across all searches. Minimum 10.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
The site answers Apify datacenter proxy well, which is the default and costs nothing extra. Each search keeps one address so the site session stays valid.
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "Siemens Aktiengesellschaft"
  ],
  "area": "0",
  "maxResultsPerSearch": 50,
  "maxItems": 200,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
