## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Foundit Jobs Scraper: Indian Jobs with Salary and Experience Filters

**$1 per 1,000 jobs. Platform usage included. No rental, no minimum.**

[Open it in Apify Console](https://console.apify.com/actors/CrwO8Kvoy7lnk7lpu/input)

### What it costs

| Jobs | Price |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | $1.00 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 |
| 100,000 | $100.00 |

Plus $0.001 per run. One flat price, platform usage included, so there is no separate compute or proxy bill. Full descriptions cost nothing extra. A daily run of 300 new jobs costs $0.301, or about $9.03 over 30 days.

### Why use it

Foundit.in is the Indian job board that used to be Monster India.

- **One flat price, descriptions included.** Turning on full job text adds one request per job but not one cent to the price per job.
- **Foundit's own filters.** Cities, experience range in years, yearly salary in lakh rupees, and how many days old a job can be.
- **Rows ready to count and sort.** Experience and salary as numbers when shown, skills, job type, posting and closing dates, applicant count, the Foundit link and the external apply link.
- **No repeats, no login.** A job that matches two of your keywords is returned once, before you are charged. In our tests 50 jobs with full descriptions took about 30 seconds.

### Quick start

1. Open the actor, type a job title or skill and a city, press **Start**.
2. Or paste this input:

```json
{ "keywords": ["data analyst"], "locations": ["Bangalore"], "maxItems": 50 }
```

3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

### Use it from code

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/one_dollar_store~foundit-jobs-search-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"keywords": ["data analyst"], "locations": ["Bangalore"], "maxItems": 50}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("one_dollar_store/foundit-jobs-search-scraper").call(
    run_input={"keywords": ["java developer"], "locations": ["Pune", "Hyderabad"], "maxItems": 50}
)
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item["postedAt"], item["company"], item["title"], item.get("salaryText", ""))
```

### Use it from an AI assistant

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can call this actor through Apify's MCP server. Add it with this server address:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=one_dollar_store/foundit-jobs-search-scraper
```

Then ask, for example: "Find Java developer jobs on Foundit in Pune and Hyderabad for 3 to 6 years of experience, posted in the last 7 days, and list the ones that show a salary."

### Switching from another Foundit actor

Job titles or skills go in `keywords` (a list, so one run can cover many searches). Cities go in `locations`, and the result limit is `maxItems`. The core fields are `title`, `company`, `locations`, `experienceText`, `salaryText`, `skills`, `postedAt` and `jobUrl`.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | list of text | required | Job titles or skills, for example `data analyst`. Each is a separate search. |
| `locations` | list of text | none | Cities, for example `Bangalore`, `Pune`. Searched together. Empty means all of India. |
| `minExperienceYears`, `maxExperienceYears` | number | none | Experience range in years. Foundit returns jobs whose range overlaps yours. |
| `minSalaryLakhs`, `maxSalaryLakhs` | number | none | Yearly salary range, in lakh rupees. |
| `maxJobAgeDays` | number | none | Only jobs posted in this many days. |
| `includeDescription` | true or false | false | Add the full description and city and state details. One extra request per job, same price. |
| `maxItems` | number | 100 | Total jobs for the run. Minimum 10. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | no proxy | Leave as is. Foundit accepts the direct connection from Apify. |
| `residentialFallback` | true or false | true | If Foundit refuses the direct connection twice in a row, finish through Indian residential addresses. |

Example:

```json
{ "keywords": ["java developer"], "locations": ["Pune", "Hyderabad"], "minExperienceYears": 3, "maxExperienceYears": 6, "maxItems": 200 }
```

### Output fields

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `jobId`, `title`, `company`, `companyId`, `locations` | The job, the employer and its cities. |
| `employmentTypes`, `jobTypes`, `industries`, `functions`, `skills`, `employerType` | What kind of job it is. |
| `urgentlyHiring`, `walkIn` | Flags shown on the listing. |
| `experienceMinYears`, `experienceMaxYears`, `experienceText` | Experience range. |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryText`, `salaryHidden` | Yearly salary, when the employer shows it. |
| `postedAt`, `postedText`, `updatedAt`, `closesAt`, `applicants` | Dates and applicant count. |
| `jobUrl`, `applyUrl`, `companyUrl`, `companyLogo` | Foundit link, and the outside apply page when the job sends you there. |
| `description`, `locationDetails` | With descriptions on: plain text, and city, state and country. |
| `searchKeyword`, `searchLocation`, `scrapedAt` | Which search found the job, and collection time. |

Empty fields are left out of the row.

### Limits

- Foundit decides how many jobs a search reaches; the run summary shows the total it reported for each keyword. Very broad searches can stop short of that total if Foundit stops paging.
- Most employers hide the salary. A salary filter still matches those jobs (Foundit checks the salary the employer entered), but their salary fields stay empty.
- The experience filter keeps jobs whose range overlaps yours, so a 3 to 6 year search can include a 5 to 10 year job.
- Many listings are syndicated from other sites; for those, `applyUrl` points to the original posting.
- Only job rows are charged; summaries and errors never are. Set a spending limit on the run and the actor stops when it is reached.

### FAQ

**How much does it cost to scrape 10,000 Foundit jobs?**
$10, plus $0.001 for each run, with or without descriptions.

**Do I pay for compute or proxy on top?**
No. Platform usage, including the residential fallback, is included in the $1 per 1,000 price.

**Do I need a Foundit account?**
No. The actor reads public job listings only. No login, no cookies.

**How fresh is the data?**
Each run reads Foundit live. Use `maxJobAgeDays` and a schedule to collect only recent postings.

**What is in the run summary?**
The key-value store record `RUN_SUMMARY` lists, per keyword, Foundit's total, pages read, rows returned and why the run stopped, plus the filters sent.

**Is it legal?**
The actor collects only public job listings that anyone can see without logging in. You are responsible for using the data in line with Foundit's terms and the law where you work, including data protection rules.

**Is this an official Foundit product?**
No. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Foundit.

**Something broke?**
Open an issue on the Issues tab with the input you used.

**Do I need an Apify account?**
Yes. Actors run from an Apify account, and a free account is enough to start: it includes $5 of platform usage every month. You can [sign up here](https://www.apify.com?fpr=ymnoit). This is a referral link and it costs you nothing.

**Is there a limit on the free plan?**
Yes. A run started from a free plan account delivers the first 10 results, then ends with a message and a link to the plans. Any paid plan returns everything you ask for, up to your own limit. The price per result is the same on every plan.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Job titles or skills to search, for example "data analyst" or "java developer". Each keyword is a separate search; a job found by two keywords is returned once.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Cities to search in, for example "Bangalore" or "Pune". Several cities are searched together. Leave empty for all of India.

## `minExperienceYears` (type: `integer`):

Lower end of the experience range. Foundit returns jobs whose range overlaps the one you set.

## `maxExperienceYears` (type: `integer`):

Upper end of the experience range.

## `minSalaryLakhs` (type: `integer`):

Lower end of the yearly salary range, in lakhs. Foundit matches it against the salary the employer entered, even when the listing hides it; hidden salaries stay hidden in the results.

## `maxSalaryLakhs` (type: `integer`):

Upper end of the yearly salary range, in lakhs.

## `maxJobAgeDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs posted in this many days. Leave empty for any date.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Opens each job's page for the full description and city and state details. Slower, one extra request per job, same price per row.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total. Minimum 10.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Where requests leave from. By default the actor connects directly, which Foundit accepts from Apify. Pick a proxy here only if you see refusals.

## `residentialFallback` (type: `boolean`):

If Foundit refuses the direct connection twice in a row, finish the run through Indian residential addresses instead of stopping.
