## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 results

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Zillow Sold Homes Scraper: Sale Prices and Dates by Area

**$1 per 1,000 sold homes. Platform usage included. No rental, no minimum.**

The four most used Zillow actors for sold homes on Apify Store charge $1.15 to $2.99 per 1,000 results (Store prices checked 5 October 2026). This actor returns recently sold US homes with sale price, sale date and home facts for $1.

[Open it in Apify Console](https://console.apify.com/actors/AdzESTSGexuVge4c7/input)

### What it costs

| Sold homes | This actor | Most used Zillow actors for sold homes on the Store |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $1.00 | $1.15 to $2.99 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 | $11.50 to $29.90 |
| 100,000 | $100.00 | $115 to $299 |

Plus $0.001 per run. A weekly comps run of 500 sales costs $0.501, or about $2.17 a month.

Every delivered row counts as a result, including sales that show no sale price (`soldPriceShown: false`). Turn on `onlyWithSalePrice` to leave those out; sales left out are never delivered or billed.

### Why people switch

- **One flat price.** The US residential proxy Zillow needs is included, so the bill follows the number of sales and nothing else.
- **The sale price, not the list price.** `soldPrice` is the price on Zillow's sold card. When there is none, the field is left out, never filled with a list price, and `soldPriceNote` says why.
- **Any area, your filters.** Cities, ZIP codes, counties, neighborhoods or a Zillow search link, with a sold window from 7 days to 36 months, home type, price, beds and baths.
- **Quick.** In our test runs, 30 to 50 sales took under 20 seconds. A home found twice is returned once, and the run stops at your spending limit.

### Quick start

1. Open the actor, type a city or ZIP code, press **Start**.
2. Or paste this input:

```json
{ "locations": ["Phoenix, AZ"], "maxItems": 50 }
```

3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

### Use it from code

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/one_dollar_store~zillow-sold-homes-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"locations": ["85018"], "soldWithin": "180", "maxItems": 50}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("one_dollar_store/zillow-sold-homes-scraper").call(
    run_input={"locations": ["Phoenix, AZ"], "homeType": "houses", "maxItems": 100}
)
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item.get("soldDate"), item.get("soldPrice"), item["address"])
```

### Use it from an AI assistant

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can call this actor through Apify's MCP server. Add it with this server address:

```
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=one_dollar_store/zillow-sold-homes-scraper
```

Then ask, for example: "Get houses sold in ZIP 85018 in the last 90 days and tell me the median sale price per square foot."

### Switching from another Zillow sold homes actor

Most Zillow sold actors take a place or a search link and a result limit. Here they are `locations` (a list of places), `searchUrls` (a list of links) and `maxItems`, with `soldWithin` for the time window. The core fields are `zpid`, `address`, `soldPrice`, `soldDate`, `beds`, `baths`, `livingAreaSqft` and `url`.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `locations` | list of text | | Cities, ZIP codes, counties or neighborhoods, for example `Phoenix, AZ`, `85018`. |
| `searchUrls` | list of links | | Zillow sold search links copied from your browser. Area and filters in the link are kept. |
| `soldWithin` | 7 days to 36 months | 90 days | How far back to look. A link with its own window keeps it. |
| `homeType` | any, houses, townhomes, condos, multiFamily, land, manufactured | any | Limit to one kind of home. Land comes back as `LOT`. |
| `minPrice`, `maxPrice` | number | | Sale price range in USD. |
| `minBeds`, `minBaths` | number | | Lowest number of bedrooms or bathrooms. |
| `sortBy` | newest, priceHigh, priceLow, relevance | newest | Which sales come first. |
| `onlyWithSalePrice` | true or false | false | Leave out sales that show no sale price. |
| `maxItems` | number | 100 | Stop after this many sales in total. Minimum 10. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | proxy | US residential | Zillow shows a bot check to most data center addresses. Its cost is included in the price. |

Example:

```json
{
  "locations": ["Phoenix, AZ", "85018"],
  "soldWithin": "180",
  "homeType": "houses",
  "maxItems": 300
}
```

### Output fields

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `zpid`, `url` | Zillow property id and listing link. |
| `address`, `street`, `city`, `state`, `zipcode` | Where the home is. |
| `soldPrice`, `soldDate` | Sale price shown on the sold card, and the calendar day of the sale. |
| `soldPriceShown`, `soldPriceNote` | false when Zillow shows no sale price, with the reason. |
| `pricePerSqft` | Sale price divided by living area. |
| `beds`, `baths`, `livingAreaSqft` | Home facts. |
| `lotSize`, `lotSizeUnit` | Lot size in sqft or acres. |
| `homeType` | For example `SINGLE_FAMILY`, `CONDO`, `LOT`. |
| `zestimate`, `rentZestimate`, `taxAssessedValue` | Zillow estimates and the tax assessed value, when shown. |
| `latitude`, `longitude` | Map position. |
| `imageUrl`, `brokerName` | First photo and the listing brokerage. |
| `searchInput`, `scrapedAt` | The place or link that found it, and collection time. |

Empty fields are left out of a row rather than sent as null.

### Sample results

Real rows from test runs on 4 October 2026. `scrapedAt` and `imageUrl` removed for space.

]
```
The first is a house in Phoenix, the second a land sale from a county search link (`homeType` land, last 12 months), the third a land sale in Texas, where sale prices are not public.
### Limits
- **No sale price in non-disclosure states.** Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming do not make sale prices public, so Zillow shows none for most sales there. These rows are still delivered, with the sale date and home facts and `soldPriceShown: false`, and count as results. Turn on `onlyWithSalePrice` to leave them out; a search that shows no price on its first 3 pages is then skipped.
- Zillow shows about the first 1,000 sales of any one search. For more, split the area into ZIP codes or use shorter windows.
- Sales still marked pending, and sales older than your window, are left out.
- If Zillow shows a bot check, the page is tried again on a new address up to two more times, then that search is skipped.
### FAQ
**What is the cheapest Zillow sold homes scraper on Apify?**
This actor costs $1 per 1,000 sold homes with platform usage included. The most used Zillow actors for sold homes on the Store charged $1.15 to $2.99 per 1,000 when we checked on 5 October 2026.
**How much does it cost to scrape 10,000 Zillow sold homes?**
$10, plus $0.001 for each run.
**Do I pay for compute or proxy on top?**
No. Platform usage, including the residential proxy, is included in the $1 per 1,000 price.
**Do I pay for sales that show no sale price?**
Yes, when they are delivered: by default they come with `soldPriceShown: false` and count as rows. With `onlyWithSalePrice` on, they are left out and not billed.
**Is `soldPrice` the list price?**
No. It is the sale price Zillow shows on the sold card. When there is none, the field is left out rather than filled with a list price.
**How is `soldDate` worked out?**
From Zillow's own sale date, as the calendar day in US time.
**Why do some rows have no square feet or price per square foot?**
Land and some records have no living area on Zillow.
**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. A weekly run with `soldWithin` set to 7 or 14 days keeps a comps file current.
**Do I need a Zillow account?**
No. Nothing is logged in.
**Is it legal?**
It reads only public pages that anyone can open without an account. You are responsible for using the data in line with Zillow's terms and the laws where you live, including privacy law.
**Is this an official Zillow product?**
No. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zillow.
**Do I need an Apify account?**
Yes. Actors run from an Apify account, and a free account is enough to start: it includes $5 of platform usage every month. You can [sign up here](https://www.apify.com?fpr=ymnoit). This is a referral link and it costs you nothing.
**Is there a limit on the free plan?**
Yes. A run started from a free plan account delivers the first 10 results, then ends with a message and a link to the plans. Any paid plan returns everything you ask for, up to your own limit. The price per result is the same on every plan.
# Actor input Schema
## `locations` (type: `array`):
Places to search, one per line, written the way you would type them into Zillow, for example "Phoenix, AZ", "85018" or "Ballard, Seattle, WA".
## `searchUrls` (type: `array`):
Optional. Paste the link from your browser's address bar after setting up a sold homes search on zillow.com. The area and filters in the link are kept; the filters below are added on top when you set them.
## `soldWithin` (type: `string`):
How far back to look. A search link that already has its own sold window keeps it.
## `homeType` (type: `string`):
Limit the search to one kind of home. Land shows as LOT in the results.
## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):
Leave empty for no lower limit.
## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):
Leave empty for no upper limit.
## `minBeds` (type: `integer`):
Leave empty for any number.
## `minBaths` (type: `integer`):
Leave empty for any number.
## `sortBy` (type: `string`):
Which sales come first. With a row limit, this decides which sales you get.
## `onlyWithSalePrice` (type: `boolean`):
Leave out sales that show no sale price. Texas, Utah and ten other states do not make sale prices public, so most sales there have none.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
The run stops after this many sales in total, across all places. Zillow shows about the first 1,000 sales of any one search, so split a big city into ZIP codes or shorter time windows to get more. Minimum 10.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Zillow shows a bot check to most data center addresses, so US residential proxy is the default.
