## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## OpenData — Verified Ecommerce Store Database

**Filter 814,516 verified ecommerce stores and download exactly the rows you need — $4 per 1,000 rows, first 25 rows free.**

OpenData maintains a warehouse of **815,507 verified ecommerce stores** (a store is "verified" when at least one ecommerce technology was detected on its own storefront). This Actor serves **814,516** of them — the warehouse minus stores associated with Vietnam, which OpenData excludes entirely.

Unlike single-platform indexes, OpenData covers **Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, EasyStore, Magento, OpenCart, Ecwid and more**, and every record can be filtered by the technologies, apps and payment gateways detected on the store.

### What each row contains

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `domain` | Store domain — one row per store |
| `platform` | Ecommerce platform (Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce, …) |
| `country` | Country associated with the store, where detected |
| `language` | Storefront language code, where detected |
| `currency` | Storefront currency code, where detected |
| `technologies` | Technologies detected on the store's own public pages |
| `apps` | Ecommerce apps/plugins detected on the storefront |
| `payment_gateways` | Payment gateways detected, incl. Southeast Asian local methods (GCash, QRIS, DANA, PromptPay, Xendit, Midtrans) |
| `email` | Public business email published by the store itself (role-based: info@, sales@, support@…); blank where none is published |
| `last_scanned` | Date OpenData last observed this storefront |
| `completeness_score` | OpenData record completeness (0–100) — how complete our record of the store is, not a rating of the store |
| `industry` | Broad segment where classified (most rows are not yet classified) |

### Filters

- **Platform** — one of Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, EasyStore, Magento, OpenCart, Ecwid, Square
- **Technology** — e.g. Klaviyo, React, Cloudflare, Google Analytics
- **App / plugin** — e.g. Judge.me Product Reviews, Elementor Website Builder
- **Country** — ISO alpha-2 code (US, GB, DE, ID, …)
- **Only stores with a public business email** — 11,237 served stores carry a published role-based email

### Pricing

- **$4.00 per 1,000 rows** — the first **25 rows of every run are free**
- You are charged **only for rows actually delivered** to your dataset: errors, duplicates and empty results are never billed
- Set **Max rows** to control exactly how many rows a run delivers

### Data freshness & sourcing

Every record comes from the store's own public storefront, scanned by OpenData; the row's `last_scanned` date tells you when that store was last observed. The full dataset is refreshed **every 2 weeks**.

Want to check before you buy? The **free store checker and free samples** are on our website: **data.openbio.io.vn** (30 free checker unlocks per month).

### Notes

- Rows are served from OpenData's prebuilt warehouse (that is how the price stays at $4/1,000) — this Actor does not re-scrape storefronts live during your run.
- Licensed for use inside one company. Please do not resell or redistribute the data or extracts of it. If you run a store in this list and want your details removed, contact us and we will remove them.
- Support: admin@openbio.io.vn
