## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## France Company KYB

Check French companies by SIREN against official registries in one run: identity, active or ceased status, officers, open insolvency proceedings, and on demand a live VAT check, asset-freeze screening, BODACC legal announcements and public contracts won.

### What you get for each company

- **Company profile**: legal name, legal form, activity (NAF), creation and cessation dates, head office, establishments, officers.
- **Risk signals**: open insolvency proceeding (safeguard, receivership, liquidation) from the BODACC, recent sale, cessation.
- **Options** (tick in the input):
  - **VAT check**: validity of the French VAT number in VIES, with the name and address declared for VAT.
  - **Asset-freeze screening**: company and officers compared with the French national asset-freeze register (UN, EU and national measures). A match is a lead to check, not a decision.
  - **BODACC announcements**: every legal announcement published for the company.
  - **Public contracts**: summary and latest public contracts won (DECP data).

### Sources

All data comes from official French and EU public sources: the INSEE SIRENE register and the national companies register through the Annuaire des Entreprises, the BODACC, the EU VIES service, the national asset-freeze register of the French Treasury, and the consolidated public procurement data (DECP) on data.gouv.fr.

### Pricing

Pay per event, no start fee:

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Company profile | $0.004 |
| VAT check | $0.004 |
| Asset-freeze screening | $0.004 |
| BODACC announcements | $0.004 |
| Public contracts | $0.004 |

Nothing is charged for an invalid SIREN, an unknown company, or a source that is temporarily unavailable. Set a maximum charge for the run and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

### Input

```json
{ "sirens": ["552032534", "404833048"], "includeScreening": true }
```

### Output

One row per SIREN, in input order:

```json
{
  "siren": "552032534",
  "status": "ok",
  "company": { "siren": "552032534", "name": "DANONE", "status": "active", "risk_signals": { "in_insolvency": false } },
  "screening": { "result": "clear", "matches": [] }
}
```

`status` is `ok`, `invalid` (malformed SIREN), `not_found` (unknown company) or `upstream_unavailable` (a registry did not answer: run it again later). When an option's source fails, that field holds an `error` and is not charged.

### Limits

Up to 1,000 SIRENs per run. French companies only. Beneficial owners, financial statements, foreign sanctions lists (OFAC, UK) and politically exposed persons are not covered.
