## Changelog

### 1.0.6 (2026-10-03)

(Build 1.0.5 had the same changes with default `maxItems` 50; it was replaced by 1.0.6 after timing.)

- SEC request rate per run back to 3 req/s (all runs share one SEC contact address, so the SEC could throttle them together). Backoff and fail-fast unchanged.
- Default `timeBudgetSeconds` lowered from 60 to 45 s, so MCP/agent calls finish well under a minute. CLI/API users can raise it, or set `0` for unlimited.
- Default `maxItems` lowered from 50 to 40, so a default run takes about 40 s at 3 req/s.
- `truncated` is now true only when `stopReason` is `timeBudget` or `maxCharge`. Reaching your own `maxItems` counts as complete (`truncated: false`, `stopReason: "maxItems"`). No new fields.

### 1.0.4 (2026-10-03)

- SEC request rate per run raised from 3 to 4 req/s (two parallel runs stay under SEC's 10 req/s). Backoff and fail-fast unchanged.
- Default `maxItems` lowered from 100 to 50, so a default run finishes in about 40 s. The default time budget stays at 60 s, because MCP clients time out at about 60 s.

### 1.0.3 (2026-10-03)

- SEC request rate capped at 3 req/s per run (was 5), so up to three parallel runs stay within SEC's 10 req/s. Backoff on 429/5xx and fail-fast on the undeclared-UA 403 unchanged.
- Default dataset view (Overview) now shows `fundType` after the issuer and `isOfferingAmountIndefinite` next to the offering amount.

### 1.0 (2026-10-03)

- First release: SEC Form D / D/A filings from official EDGAR data (daily form index + latest-filings Atom feed + Form D XML).
- Filters: date window (≤ 92 days), industry groups (35 SEC labels + headings), states, minimum amount sold, issuer keywords, exclude pooled funds (default on), include amendments (default off).
- Monitor mode (named KV store per monitorId; only pushed accessions committed), time budget with RUN_SUMMARY coverage, resume after migration.
- Related persons as role counts only (`relatedPersonsCount`, `executiveOfficerCount`, `directorCount`, `promoterCount`; one person can count toward several roles). No person names or personal addresses, ever; no signer names or broker recipients.
- Issuer business address and phone as company data (`issuerStreet1`, `issuerStreet2`, `issuerPhone`).
- SEC fair access: declared User-Agent (SEC_CONTACT_EMAIL), ≤ 3 req/s per run (5 in 1.0.2, 4 in 1.0.4), ≤ 4 in flight, backoff on 429/5xx, half rate for 10 min after a 429.

### Console prefill cap (2026-10-05)

- Input: `maxItems` Console prefill lowered so a first one-click run from the Store costs at most $0.02 including the start fee. The default for API callers who omit `maxItems` is unchanged. No code or pricing changes.
