## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 url extracteds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Sitemap URL Extractor: Every URL from Any Website

Get **every URL listed in a website's sitemaps**, in bulk, ready for SEO audits, content inventories, migrations, scraping pipelines and AI agents.

### What it does

- 🗺️ Finds sitemaps from **robots.txt**, `/sitemap.xml`, `/sitemap_index.xml` and `/wp-sitemap.xml`
- 📚 Follows **sitemap indexes** (up to 60 sitemaps per website)
- 🕒 Returns **lastmod**, **changefreq**, **priority** and which sitemap each URL came from
- 🔎 Optional **filter** (e.g. `/blog/` or `/products/`) so you only pay for the URLs you want
- 🧹 Removes duplicates; processes many websites in one run

### Input

| Field | What to enter |
| --- | --- |
| Domains or URLs | `acme.com` or a URL; one per line |
| URLs per website | Maximum URLs to return per website (up to 50,000) |
| Only URLs matching | Optional text or regular expression, e.g. `/blog/` |

```json
{ "domains": ["acme.com", "example.org"], "maxUrlsPerSite": 10000, "urlFilter": "/blog/" }
```

### Who it's for

- **SEO teams** building crawl lists and checking what is indexed.
- **Developers and data teams** seeding scrapers with every product or article URL.
- **Content and migration projects** that need a full inventory of a site.

### Output example

```json
{ "domain": "acme.com", "url": "https://acme.com/blog/launch", "lastmod": "2026-09-30", "changefreq": "weekly", "priority": 0.8, "sitemap": "https://acme.com/post-sitemap.xml" }
```

### Pricing

Pay per URL returned, so filters save you money. Websites with no readable sitemap cost the lower failed fee.

| Event | When it is charged | Price per 1,000 (Free / Bronze / Silver / Gold plan) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| URL extracted | Each URL returned. | $2 / $1.80 / $1.60 / $1.50 |
| Website without sitemap | A website with no readable sitemap. | $1 on every plan |
| Sitemap data read | Each started 1 MB of robots.txt and sitemap files downloaded for a website (most websites need 1). | $0.50 on every plan |

Set **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spend: the run stops cleanly at your limit.

### Notes

Compressed (.gz) sitemaps are not read yet; the result will say so.
