## Pricing

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## UK Public Tenders Finder: Find a Tender and Contracts Finder in One Search

Search **UK government tenders** and **contract awards** from both official services, **Find a Tender** (higher-value contracts across the UK) and **Contracts Finder** (lower-value contracts in England), with one set of filters and one clean format.

### What it does

- Searches both services' official open data (OCDS) feeds, no login needed.
- Filters by **keyword**, **CPV code**, **buyer**, **contract value**, **publish date** and **deadline still open**.
- Returns open tenders, contract awards (with winning suppliers and values) or early engagement notices.
- Removes duplicate notices and returns tidy fields: title, buyer, buyer region and contact, value, deadline, contract dates, CPV codes, SME suitability and a link to the notice.

### Who it's for

- **Suppliers and SMEs** looking for public sector work to bid on.
- **Bid writers and consultancies** monitoring opportunities for several clients.
- **Market researchers** analysing who buys what and who wins.
- Run it on a schedule in Apify for a daily or weekly tender alert.

### Input

| Field | What to enter |
| --- | --- |
| Keywords | e.g. `software`, `cleaning`, `consultancy` |
| Published in the last (days) | Default 7 |
| Published from / to | Optional exact dates |
| Notice types | Open tenders, contract awards, planned |
| Sources | Find a Tender, Contracts Finder or both |
| CPV codes | e.g. `72` for IT services |
| Buyer contains | e.g. `NHS`, `council` |
| Minimum / maximum value | In pounds |
| Still open only | Deadline not yet passed |
| Maximum notices | Stop after this many matches |

```json
{ "keywords": ["software", "digital"], "publishedWithinDays": 14, "minValue": 50000, "openOnly": true }
```

### Output

```json
{
  "source": "Find a Tender", "ocid": "ocds-h6vhtk-0abc12", "noticeId": "012345-2026",
  "noticeUrl": "https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/012345-2026", "stage": "tender",
  "title": "Digital case management system", "buyer": "Example Borough Council", "buyerRegion": "UKI",
  "value": 250000, "currency": "GBP", "deadline": "2026-11-20T12:00:00Z",
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000"], "suitableForSme": true, "publishedAt": "2026-10-26T09:00:00Z", "awards": []
}
```

### Pricing

Filters run on our side, so you pay a small fee for each page of 100 notices read and the notice fee only for matches.

| Event | When it is charged | Price per 1,000 (Free / Bronze / Silver / Gold plan) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Results page scanned | Each request for a page of up to 100 notices from Find a Tender or Contracts Finder, once per started 3 MB, whether or not any notice matches. | $5 on every plan |
| Notice scraped | Each tender or award notice returned in the dataset. | $3 / $2.70 / $2.50 / $2.20 |

Example: a search that reads 20 pages (up to 2,000 notices) and finds 50 matches costs 20 × $0.005 + 50 × $0.003 = $0.25 on the Free plan. Narrow date ranges keep the page count down.

### Notes and limits

- Data comes from the official services and is as complete as the buyers' own notices; some notices have no stated value.
- Contracts Finder limits request rates. If it refuses requests, the run reports it and returns what it has.
- Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland also publish lower-value contracts on their own portals, which are not included.
