## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee & SmartRecruiters

Get **every open job** from any company that hires through **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee or SmartRecruiters**, in one clean table. That covers thousands of tech companies and startups, such as Stripe, Airbnb, OpenAI, Notion, Palantir and Hugging Face.

Paste a careers page link, a job-board link or just a company name. The tool **detects the platform automatically**, then returns every job with title, department, location, remote or hybrid, employment type, posting date, apply link, **salary range** (when the company publishes it) and the full description.

- **Six job platforms in one tool**, all returned in the same output format.
- **Official public job-board APIs**: the same feeds companies use to show jobs on their own websites. No login, no browser, no proxies, so runs are fast and rarely fail.
- **Filters**: title keywords, excluded words (e.g. "senior"), locations, remote only, posted in the last N days.
- **Cheap**: pay per job returned. Companies with no job board found are free.

### Who is it for?

- **Job seekers and job-alert builders**: watch your target companies and get new openings first.
- **Recruiters and staffing agencies**: find companies hiring for the roles you place.
- **Sales and lead generation**: hiring is a buying signal. A company hiring 5 data engineers likely needs data tools.
- **Job boards and aggregators**: power a niche job board (remote, AI, climate, crypto) with fresh listings.
- **Market and salary research**: compare hiring trends and published salary ranges across companies.

### How to use it

1. Add companies, one per line. Any of these works:
   - `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`
   - `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` or `https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/figma`
   - `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai`
   - `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface`
   - `https://bunq.recruitee.com`
   - `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/ServiceNow`
   - just a name like `stripe` or `notion` (every platform is tried)
   - a company's own careers page, which is checked for an embedded job board
2. Optionally add filters (title keywords, locations, remote only, posted within N days).
3. Click **Start** and download your jobs as Excel, CSV or JSON, or get them through the API.

**Tip:** schedule a daily run with **Posted within the last 1 day** to get a feed of only new jobs.

### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer"],
  "excludeTitleKeywords": ["senior", "staff"],
  "locations": ["remote", "new york"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "company": "openai",
  "platform": "ashby",
  "jobId": "07153f7c-7e8b-4283-a879-cb07a224e083",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/07153f7c-7e8b-4283-a879-cb07a224e083",
  "salaryMin": 230000,
  "salaryMax": 325000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$230K – $325K • Offers Equity",
  "description": "About the Team\nThe Privacy Engineering team builds..."
}
```

A `COMPANIES_SUMMARY` record in the run's key-value store lists every company, the platform detected, jobs found and jobs returned.

### How much does it cost?

Pay-per-event: a small fee **per job returned** plus a tiny per-run start fee, with no subscription. For example, 1,000 jobs cost about $1. Companies where no job board is found, and jobs removed by your filters, are **not charged**. Set **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spending.

### Use it through the API, integrations or AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets integrations, or call it from AI agents through the Apify MCP server. Results are plain JSON with the same fields on every platform.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?** It only reads public job postings from each platform's official public job-board API, the same data anyone can see on the company's careers page. No personal data is collected.

**Why was my company not found?** Some companies use other systems (Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, their own site) or load jobs in a way that can't be detected from the page. Paste the direct job-board link if you know it, e.g. `https://jobs.lever.co/company`.

**Why is there no salary?** Salary is included only when the company publishes it on its job board. It's most common on Ashby, Lever and Recruitee.

**How does it compare with single-platform scrapers?** One tool covers six platforms with the same output fields, auto-detects the platform from a name or careers page, and only charges for jobs you actually get.

**Found a bug or want another platform?** Open an issue. We usually reply within 24 hours.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose title contains at least one of these words, e.g. engineer, sales, marketing. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Skip jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. senior, intern.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Only keep jobs whose location contains one of these, e.g. remote, london, new york, germany.
