## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Aggregator: Remote OK, Jobicy & Arbeitnow

Collect remote and tech job listings from three public job feeds, **Remote OK**, **Jobicy** and **Arbeitnow**, in one clean, de-duplicated dataset. Each job includes title, company, location, remote flag, job type, tags or categories, salary range (when listed), posted date, a plain-text description and the **original listing link**, plus a source credit. Filter by keywords, location, posting date and minimum salary. No login, no API key.

### Who is it for?

- **Job seekers and career coaches** building a daily list of fresh remote roles.
- **Job boards, newsletters and communities** curating remote jobs, with links back to the original listings.
- **Recruiters and HR analysts** tracking which companies hire remotely, and for what roles and salaries.
- **Researchers** studying remote-work demand and pay.

### How to use it

1. Add **keywords** such as `python`, `designer` or `marketing` (any match counts), or leave empty for all jobs.
2. Choose **sources** (all three by default), and optionally a **location**, **posted within** days or **minimum salary**.
3. Click **Start**, or schedule it daily for new jobs every morning.

### Input example

```json
{"keywords": ["python", "data engineer"], "postedWithinDays": 7, "maxResults": 200}
```

### Output example

```json
{"source": "Remote OK", "title": "Solutions Engineer", "company": "Onebrief", "location": "Remote", "remote": true, "salaryMin": 180000, "salaryMax": 220000, "salaryCurrency": "USD", "postedAt": "2026-10-24T00:00:02+00:00", "categories": ["python", "docker", "cloud"], "url": "https://remoteOK.com/remote-jobs/...", "attribution": "Job via Remote OK - see original listing at https://remoteOK.com/..."}
```

### How much does it cost?

Pay-per-event: a small fee **per job** returned, plus a tiny per-run start fee, with no subscription and no separate platform usage costs. For example, 1,000 jobs cost about $1. If nothing matches, you get a free notice row. Set **Max results** or **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spending.

### Use it through the API, integrations or AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, on a schedule, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets. AI agents can find and call it through the Apify MCP server. Output is clean JSON with the same fields on every run.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** Yes. Each source publishes a free public job API. Remote OK and Jobicy ask that you credit them and link to the original listing, and Arbeitnow asks for a link back. Every row includes the source name, the original URL and an `attribution` line, so keep those when you publish jobs. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed from descriptions. Sources whose terms forbid redistribution (Remotive, Himalayas) are not used.

**How fresh are the jobs?** The feeds update throughout the day; Arbeitnow updates hourly.

**Why are some salaries empty?** Many companies do not publish salaries. Use **Minimum salary** to keep only jobs that list one.
