## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU TED Tenders Scraper: Public Procurement Notices

**Find European public tenders in bulk.** TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the official EU journal for public procurement, with hundreds of thousands of contract notices a year from all EU and EEA countries. This tool searches it and returns clean rows:

- **Notice number**, title, procedure title and description
- **Buyer** (contracting authority), buyer country and city
- **Publication date** and **bid deadline**
- **Estimated value** and currency (and awarded value for award notices)
- **CPV codes**, contract nature (services, supplies, works), procedure type and notice type
- Place of performance (NUTS codes), winners on award notices, and links to the notice page and English PDF

Filter by **keyword, buyer country, CPV code, notice type, publication date, open deadline and minimum value**. Data comes from the **official TED Search API**, so no login or scraping of web pages is needed.

### Who is it for?

- **Companies bidding on EU contracts**: get every new tender in your CPV codes and countries each morning.
- **Bid consultants and tender alert services**: power newsletters and dashboards for clients.
- **Pairs with the SAM.gov tool**: use the **SAM.gov Contract Opportunities Scraper** (listed below) for U.S. federal bids, and this one for Europe.
- **Market researchers**: analyse who buys what, where, and for how much.

### How to use it

1. Enter **keywords**, **countries** (2-letter codes like DE, FR, PL) and/or **CPV codes** (prefixes work: 72000000 = all IT services).
2. Pick **notice types** (open contract notices by default) and how many days back to search.
3. Click **Start** and export to Excel, CSV or JSON. Schedule it daily with **Published within 1 day** for a tender alert.

### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": ["software"],
  "countries": ["DE", "FR"],
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000"],
  "noticeTypes": ["contract-notices"],
  "publishedWithinDays": 7,
  "onlyOpenForBids": true,
  "maxResults": 200
}
```

### Output example

```json
{
  "publicationNumber": "693066-2026",
  "title": "Rahmenvertrag Personaldienstleistungen für Digital- und IT-Projekte",
  "noticeType": "cn-standard",
  "contractNature": "services",
  "procedureType": "open",
  "buyer": "Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte",
  "buyerCountry": "DEU",
  "buyerCity": "Bonn",
  "publicationDate": "2026-10-08",
  "deadline": "2026-11-02",
  "estimatedValue": 141848739,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "cpvCodes": ["72200000", "79417000", "72254000"],
  "url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/693066-2026",
  "pdfUrl": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/693066-2026/pdf"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

Pay-per-event: a small fee **per notice** returned, plus a tiny per-run start fee, with no subscription and no separate platform usage costs. For example, 1,000 notices cost about $2. Searches with no matches are **not charged**. Set **Max notices** or **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spending.

### Good to know

- Titles and buyer names are returned in English when TED has a translation, otherwise in the original language. Change **Preferred language** to get another language.
- Not every notice states an estimated value or deadline.

### Use it through the API, integrations or AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, on a schedule, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets or Slack. AI agents can call it through the Apify MCP server.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** Yes. TED is the official public EU procurement journal, and this tool uses its official public search API.

**Found a bug or need a feature?** Open an issue. We usually reply within 24 hours.
