## SEC Insider Trading (Form 4) Scraper

Officers, directors, and 10% owners have to report every buy and sell within days (Section
16 of the Securities Exchange Act). This actor turns that legal disclosure into clean rows
instead of one XML filing per transaction.

### What you get

- **Every transaction** — security, transaction date, transaction code (P=purchase,
  S=sale, A=grant/award, and more), shares, price per share, shares owned after
- **Who filed it** — reporting owner name, whether they're a director/officer/10% owner,
  and their officer title
- **Both tables** — non-derivative (common stock) and derivative (options, RSUs) transactions
- **Filter by transaction code** — pass `AAPL:P,S` to see only open-market purchases and
  sales, skipping routine grants and option exercises

### How it works

Uses the official SEC EDGAR submissions API (`data.sec.gov`) to find a company's recent
Form 4 filings, then fetches and parses each filing's own XML
(`www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/...`) for the transaction detail SEC itself publishes for free.
No login, no proxies, no PDF scraping.
